Enjoyable cruise, great food, and excellent crew! The Fairwind had Snuba for the adventurous ones, high diving and water sliding along with lots of snorkeling. Wonderful trip for the kamaaina and malahinis

two of our family were not swimmer, yet the really enjoyed floating with the viewer and seeing for the first time ever what life is like under the sea. The entrance platform made all the difference for the timid family members.

Overall, this was a very good experience. The "captain" was very entertaining, the crew was very friendly, and the food was good and plentiful. My only reason for not giving it a 5 was I was a bit disappointed in the actual snorkel area. I had a much better experience on a beach that I had a short hike to...more... More

The morning trip on the Fair Wind is a great trip. It is a must do if you are on the Big Island. This was our six time on the Fair Wind, that should tell you something.

We booked this trip on advice from our friends and relatives and went out super excited. Staff was great, was very cold waiting for rays to show up, which they did not this night. We were very disappointed but the hot soup and cocoa helped with my shivering. Just be advised, there are no refunds even if it's your last... More

Everyone at Fair Wind was fantastic. The captain and crew went out of their way to make sure all guests were having a good time, had plenty to eat and drink and got the most out of the wonders of Kealakekua Bay. At the same time, they really appeared to be enjoying themselves. The snorkel site was beyond my expectations... More

This was our 3rd time out with Fair Winds - and will do it again. Their boat, staff, equipment, and location are top shelf. Food is good and plentiful.
