After seeking advice from The Manta Rays Advocates to find a green listed company, we chose to go with Big Island Divers for a night snorkelling with the manta rays. It became an evening that we will never forget! Our captain Mikey was great and so was the snorkelling instructor Leao. Both of them were both helpful, fun and very... More

Looking at the great reviews on trip advisor I booked night snorkel with big island divers for my anniversary. On the day of anniversary I was told that due to mechanical issues they had to cancel the night snorkel. We were left with some other company names and were expected to call each one of them. And to our bad... More

It all began July 3rd. The day before America celebrates its independence. We decided we wanted to see large oceanic animals that won't go jaws on myself and my husband. So we opted to do a manta snorkel. The dive was an option but when they said you just hold on to a raft and let the snorkel man do... More

We loved our morning with Big Island Divers. Chad and Andrew were great! We snorkeled with dolphins, and then got to swim with a whale shark. It was the kind of morning that we'll always remember. "We" is my husband and I, and our two young adult children. Friendly, knowledgeable folks, good equipment, great wildlife, and a little good luck.... More

Was going to take my daughter for her first open water ocean dive and did a refresher for me. Wife and son wanted to snorkel too. Big Island Divers (BID) met all of these needs and exceeded expectations. First thing I checked for were the reviews on Trip Advisor. BID came in at #1 and I see why. My daughter... More

I signed up for two tanks dive on my birthday and I have to say, everyone was very nice, knowledgeable and professional! They reviewed the gears with me since I was a little rusty since my last dive. We saw lots of marine species and had a great time. They provide you with towels, cold drinks, food and funny jokes!... More

Big Island Divers is a class act...all the captains and dive masters really know their stuff. That is why I am a repeat customer. Most recently dove off the Lu'u and the Iki with Captains Chris, Jeanine, and Andrew....Dive Masters Jeanine, Brook, Chuck and Dylan...we saw everything! Incredible fish, nudibranch, helmet snail, cowrie, white tipped reef shark, manta rays, octopus,... More

This is a first rate operation and everyone from the folks on the phone to the boat captains to the dive masters made our diving and certification experience as easy and enjoyable as it could possibly be. While maintaining an environment that is (first and foremost) safe and professional, the staff here also manages to be incredibly fun and easy... More

We had an excellent trip with Big Island Divers on June 2nd. We had 3 scuba divers and 1 snorkeler in our group, plus 8 or so other divers on the boat. Since we hadn't been diving in a while we added Dillon as our Dive Master, who did an excellent job guiding us through 2 great dive sites with... More
