This Luau is a great addition to a Hawaiian vacation - on so many levels! the location is right on the ocean where you can view a beautiful sunset as you enjoy the food and entertainment. They also featured some activities - an opportunity to make a flower bracelet, or to try the poi balls - very fun! The music... More

The Royal Kona Luau features many of the authentic Hawaiian foods and an Imu (earth oven). The food is quite good and you can go back for seconds of your favorites. There is an open bar serving sweet Mai Tai’s ask for Dark Rum on top. The hula show features dancers from many of the islands in the Pacific and... More

I would just like to say the the show was amazing, the MC was great and funny. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is the food. It was good but not over the top. Also, for the price I expected more. Apparently they are all the same though. I've heard great things about this one and I... More

We have experienced this luau now a couple times. The food is always plentiful and excellent. The show is always entertaining as well. We went to a much more expensive luau that was described as the best on the islands, we found that one to be very disappointing both in the food and the show. The luau at the Royal... More

It is a small intimate luau so there really is no bad seat. You can pay extra for vip seating but its really not necessary. The host was great and you actually got to see them take the pig out of the ground which was neat. The bar was ok wish they had some more alcohol selection so in my... More

Traveled with another couple who had not been to Hawaii. They really wanted a luau on the beach and we found this one online with a discounted rate of $69 per person. I've seen luaus before, so I wanted the others to be happy. This luau was a great show. The food was so-so. Free drinks from 5-7pm. I suggest... More

Let's make something clear: a Luau is a very tourist thing to do. However, I believe it has to be done at least once! Our party of friends had lots of fun. The food is okay, nothing special, but the entertainment was good.

This was the third luau I've been to, and it was the most disappointing! The food was uninspiring and the buffet line dishes were for the most part empty. We were seated in the back and the stage was DOWNHILL from the seats so it was impossible to see the show. The tables and seats were straight off the Wal-Mart... More

Friday Night Luau was everything you can imagine; the food was good; the host of the show was entertaining; the dancers and music was great; it also was a very educational show about the culture of the islands and their ancestry; would recommend for others to partake in

The good: Beautiful setting, on the beach, facing the sunset! Not crowded! Show was good, we'll done, great music & dancers! Mai Tai's were yummy! The average: The buffet was average, small platters, food tasted good, but was luke warm The not so good: Price, we paid $90, some other people paid less (shame on us)! We paid $7 for... More
