The luau was laid back and very well organized. The food was good and you didn't have to wait long at all for the food. The MC was excellent and the entertainment was very good. I have been to three luau's and this one was different from the other two. It was good with a different atmosphere. The male dancer... More

I'm going to keep this short. It was average. It is just a rite of passage of going to Hawaii the first time and doing this. We did it. You should too. Normal tourist stuff. Nothing really special. Oh, ignore the getting there at 4:30. You just stand in the Sun, 4:55 is fine. Enjoy. More

The luau is what you make of it I believe they're all a bit campy, but I thought the dancing and skits were great. The MC did a great job and was very informative as someone else stated in their review it was a cultural experience. The food was above average - the Kalua Pig cooked in an Imu was... More

The food wasn't very good at all. I was the last table to be called to get my plate of food. I ate my dinner and wanted to go back for some seconds on something and they had already took away all the food. The drinks were way too far away from the tables. And once the fruit punch bowl... More

Its a summary of the local culture - the food, the dance and Hawai'i's polynesian relatives. It isn't cheap so I was not impressed when they strongly encouraged us to buy $6 leis after I'd spent close to $90! There is an open bar which is nice but that's not really the main event. The show is fun and the... More

Start off the Dancing was the BEST part! They take you the dances but explain how the Peoples of Hawaii'nei were influenced by the ancestors and the relationship between cultures. These are very professional and certainly the highlight of the Luau. The food was very good with POKE (Raw tuna marinated in sesame oil), Poi (ground Taro, mild nutty or... More

This was the first luau we have been to and it was spectacular. The food was awesome and the show was even better than a five-star rating! It is a small venue, so more intimate and fun. They seat you at long tables with other people, so you are able to get to know others. It is very well organized... More

Luau was small, we bumped up to front row seats...not needed, you could see everything anywhere you sat. Fun note: the preformers were up close and personal during the "Arts & Crafts" pre-show they applied temporary tattoos (markers), taught hula & palm frond origami, very nice touch as you feel like you know them when you watched the preformance. Food... More

For our trip to the Big Island our 8 year old son *really* wanted to go to a luau. So we shelled out the $$$ for him to have this cultural experience. I guess we were expecting a more authentic experience, and this luau felt a little cheesy too us. The dancers were very talented, but the musicians were forgettable.... More

My boyfriend and I went to this luau and enjoyed the performance. The fire dancer was the best part. Be careful with the food though - we probably had too much of the (raw) poke, and my boyfriend immediately became sick as a result. Stick to the cooked foods (the pig is delicious) if you are concerned. More
