Captain Dan showed our group a great time! There were about 20 people at check-in, so I was VERY relieved when the groups were divided into several boats and we ended up with only 5 of us on our pontoon. The boat was small (no bathroom, only 2 proper seats), but it was great if you like the feeling of... More

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and it was a necessity to be able to swim with the Dolphins. So we show up and check in and are placed with 2 other couples around the same age as us(a perk I would add as we were all in and out of the boat fast) and right away we... More

When I first bought the voucher, I was afraid about the idea of swiming in the open ocean. In addition, I didn't have a lot of snorkeling experience, but I'm a good swimmer. That was by far the best experience in my life, a dream come true! Kai and Tonia where the best crew. Everything was well explained to us,... More

Captain Jon and Tracy did an excellent job. We hoped to swim with the spinner dolphins but no such luck. We instead swam with the more elusive bottle nose dolphins. Bottle nose dolphins are not as social so they were more interested in swimming away from us. Captain john got us in front of the dolphins so they would swim... More

We went out with Captain Jon and Tracy. They were super sweet and knowledgeable. After our first time in the water, I had not seen any dolphins. This was my first real time snorkelling...my kids and husband had done it before, but not I. After the first drop, I had not seen any dolphins, so Jon and Tracy made me... More

This experience was not nearly enjoyable as a similar one offered by Sea Quest, mainly because of the boat and ladder situation. The ladder was rather funky where you had to climb up, step onto the curved pontoon, grab onto a rope swinging above your head, then step sideways into the boat. Needless to say, this was quite awkward; also,... More

Aloha, I'm sorry to hear that you had a difficult time with our ladder. The very heavy duty aluminum ladder was designed specifically for this vessel with USCG standards for safety and cost over $1000.00. The Capt. and/or crew are always at the crew station at the top of the ladder to assist passengers as they get out of the... More

We found the dolphins right away and Jon and Kriss got us in the dolphins' path quickly and multiple times as they said they would. There were TONS of spinner dolphins. We also were fortunate to see a whale and her baby which were surrounded by bottlenose dolphins. The snorkeling at the cove was awesome. I had a great time... More

Our primary reason for choosing the Island of Hawaii was to swim with Dolphins - we were not disappointed! Since there were six people in our group, we got Dan and the boat to ourselves. Dan did a wonderful job of getting us to the right spots and everyone enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Dolphin Discoveries.

Our captain and guide, Sydney and Kriss, did a fantastic job getting us into the water with the dolphins. The snorkeling at Cook's monument is the best on the island, but no turtles. On the way back from snorkeling, they even took the time to show us sea caves and a spot where the daring jump off a small cliff... More

Kai and Kriss made sure we hit all the highlights and then some - dolphins, coral reefs, beautiful fish and unexpectedly two whales! They were extremely knowledgeable about everything - there were no questions they could not answer. They were helpful and patient. They're experience and assistance really made a difference! They were truly concerned with the safety and experience... More
