Jeff and I have been out with Steve for the last three years, every August we have visited Kona and fish on the Huntress for about four days. We always catch a fish, be it Marlin or mani mahi ( Dolphinfish). last year Jeff caught a 650 Lb Blue Marlin. The boat is immaculate, Steve's enthusiasm is very catching, Mitch... More

Did a lot of research online to find a good charter boat before we finally booked with captain steve on the huntress. Awesome boat with a great captain and crew. Caught 2 blue marlin the biggest was estimated at 600. We released both fish to fight another day. Don't hesitate to book with steve even if the fishing is slow... More

I returned to Kona for more great adventure after a year's absence. In September, 2013, I had one of the best days ever on the Huntress with its great crew and Captain Steve Epstein. I could not wait to return for another amazing day on the beautiful waters off Kona on the best sport fishing boat in Honokohou Harbor. Having... More

July 6th - Full day private charter: Productive day on the water! What else can you say when you catch a 600 POUND BLUE MARLIN, except for TOTALLY AWESOME! Thanks to a great crew...Captain Steve and his crewman Mitch who are masters of the game. Not that we are experts, but we have fished numerous places including Hawaii, Cabo San... More

The Huntress did well this year, leading the pack to the finish line in the last tournament. With the "Big Ones" still hitting, we set out to try our luck. Beautiful boat, just refinished, all the necessities and captained and crewed by some dedicated fisherman. Years of experience paid off, when in the first hour, we landed 14 Mahi Mahi... More

We had our family of four charter this boat and we so grateful for the experience! I researched quite a bit for a boat that was clean and a captain who was a gentleman--as we have two kids. Captain Steve was great about answering my questions as I was searching for the perfect experience and his rates were just right.... More

These guys are the best at their sport. I have been on many other chartered trips in Hawaii, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Keys to name a few. This crew puts all those other crews to shame. After fishing with them, I don't think I want to fish with anyone else (at least in Hawaii), because once the bar... More

Words cannot describe this awesome experience! The Huntress itself is a legendary boat and with the captain and crews great knowledge it makes it more then just another fishing charter. If you want to fish with the best then this is your boat! Tight lines!
