This was the highlight of our week on the Big Island for sure! The fast navy boat ride in itself was equally as awesome as seeing large amounts of dolphins, manta rays on the surface and whales in the distance. We went at the beginning of whale season, so did not see as many whales as we had hoped, but... More

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Out in a fast boat and quickly in a pod of about 100 spinner dolphins. And into the water to swim with them. Quickly put on snorkel gear and there we all were for about 25 minutes. Then on to the humpback whales. We watched 25 or so of... More

We were in the big island for 3 days over MLK weekend so try to fit in as much as possible. WHOA certainly delivered - we did a 4 hour trip and saw whales and baby whales and dolphins and tiger sharks and many many beautiful fish. We thought the crew were amazing - they picked up on tiniest things... More

Yes we love to share the ocean and our passion for everything about it... below and above. Regarding the seats/no seats: the 2 back rows are standing/leaning but we do have seats right by the Captain helm. The back rows are for a smoother ride in case the water is choppy. You get to have more fun being in the... More

Wow, we had a great day with WHOA. Saw lots of whales, mantas, sharks, dolphins and other marine life. Snorkled with all but the whales. Great boat too if you like the feel of wind on your face which we did. And the crew! I can't say enough about these guys. They are professional, polite, funny and thoroughly knowledgeable. My... I came or on another excursion as I mentioned in September (sorry for the late review). This was amazing. One word: DOLPHINS! We first went to a few sites north of the airport where we were able to see a humpback whale (or two). We then went father out out on the open enroute to Kealakekua Bay where we saw... More

Darren and crew were absolutely fantastic. I have been a diver for over 20 years and traveled all over the world on countless boats. I haven't ever found a friendlier or more knowledgable crew. They knew where to find EVERYTHING from Dolphins to mantas to sharks to whales. My trip had it all. Darren is also a world class free... More

Everything RStoller said! Brent and Seth knew their way around this fantastic boat and also knew a lot about the sea life in the area. I wish I could bottle Seth's enthusiasm! You could tell he loved his job! In addition to seeing humpback whales much closer than we could see them from the shore, we also got to listen... More

Captain Brent and our guide Seth were amazing! Brent twice positioned us just in front of pods of spinner dolphins and Seth got us in the water in time to be face to face with them. We then went in the water with reef sharks, got close to whales and bottle nose and spotted dolphin, and still spent an hour... More

Our family of 4 (two young adult sons) went on the afternoon whale watching excursion on 1/5/2015. All 4 of us really enjoyed the trip, WHOA crew were friendly and knowledgable and the boat was a very unique experience. There were a total of 8 passengers on the boat, and that made for a much more personal experience. Recommend taking... More
