They are using an old navy seals boat that has amazing power! My 12 year old son thought it was awesome:). On top of that the boat can only carry 8 passengers so a smal group is guaranteed. You get plenty of information from the crew about the ocean, wildlife and Hawaii in general. We started of the trip right... More

Yes, it is the only boat that civilians can ride on (commercially) in Northern America. The boat actually can take comfortably 12 people but we limit our morning trips to 8 because of the animal encounters. We don't put everyone in the ocean at the same time to minimize our impact on the marine life and to be as non-present... More

We booked our family of 8 on the tour last Friday. What can I say, AWESOME! Everything. If you are an experienced snorkel god, or not, they will test your limits. Our family had the best time. We witnessed two types of Dolphins, three Whales, (they even had the equipment on board to listen to the Whales). Whale Karaoke as... More

I can honestly say this was the best experience of my life. We saw so many wildlife. My daughter wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up and this solidified that for her! We swam with spinner dolphins, manta rays, pilot whales and even a shark. Paul made sure we were safe though! We even saw a monk... More

We are so glad when we stir inspiration in our guests outlook towards the ocean and its inhabitants. It is a passion for us and not a mere job or a business. Thank you for your time and review. More

I can honestly say that this was one of the best things we did on the Big Island. The crew, Brett and Paul, told us lots of facts about the wildlife we saw: manta rays, pilot whales, white tipped shark of some type, and spinner dolphins. Only one whale, but that's okay. The boat ride is a hoot! That boat... More

What an amazing experience. Toured with my son and daughter-in-law. I was a little nervous when the powerful Navy Seal boat first powered up, but soon settled into a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Brett the Captain and Paul the First Mate were excellent tour guides. We were able to enjoy snorkleing with Manta Rays and sea turtles and had plenty of... More

We are very glad to have met your high expectations. We always try our best and it is a pleasure to share our expertise and passion for the ocean with our guests. Yes sunscreen is a must...before you get on the boat and in the water so it soaks in. Aloha. More

My husband and I picked this as our main adventure for our trip. We had high expectations going in because we had reviewed several YouTube videos in prior excursions. We were NOT disappointed!!!! Brett and Paul were first class all the way!!! They took us to several locations and we swam with several large manta rays, witnessed multiple humpback whales... More

Fast boat - but don't recommend being up front as it is quite harsh/jarring when hitting the water / waves. Standing in the back is the way to go and the speed of the boat is phenomenal but I wouldn't bring young children on this vessel. The crew was very helpful & informative about the inhabitants of the sea. Darren... More

During winter time the ocean tend to be rough and yes the back of the boat which happened to be the standing/leaning rows is the best place to be. the Seating row by the Captain tend to be rougher under these conditions. Children over 4 feet of height and able to hold on with a good sense of adventure are... More

Upon the suggestion of a couple we know, this came highly recommended. We wanted to do some snorkeling and WHOA came highly recommended. The man in me was pumped for the Navy Seal jet boat and the ability to use my new underwater camera. My wife, who never has been snorkeling was also excited. Our date of the trip was... More

Our boat is unique. It is fast and can go offshore to find unique marine life and also take you to other snorkeling sites. Thank you for allowing us to share our love and respect for the ocean and its inhabitants. We always take very small group, put few people in the water at a time and never harass or... More

My husband and I and our 4 adult children and their partners all agreed that our trips on the Ocean Warrior were the highlight of our vacation. In fact, we went out twice - once for whale watching and a longer trip for snorkeling with marine mammals. First, the SEAL boat is a kick. 900 HP means you can get... More
