Morning snorkel and BBQ lunch.

Great trip. Boat and crew were great. Faster boat got us to the snorkel areas faster. In fact two spots.

You get to snorkel two sites on this excursion - twice the fun! The crew was top-notch, and the food was very good.

Our family loved the Manta Ray experience. It was an incredible experience that we will never forget. The manta rays are beautiful and awe inspiring. The captain and crew were helpful, informative and friendly. This was easily the very best activity we did while staying on the Big Island. (family with teenagers)

We love to snorkel, and this did not disappoint! We were served a nice breakfast as we travelled from the dock to the Captain Cook monument for snorkeling. Lots of boats here as it is a very popular place to snorkel, and the snorkeling is good. Lots of colorful fish and coral! Then they took us to another bay down... More

Loved the Manta Ray Night Snorkel. The Fairwinds Hula Kai boat was perfect: Clean, great seats, bathrooms, and the equipment was perfect. Just a 5 minute ride to see the Manta Rays so if you are prone to sea sickness this would be the one to take. The staff was great. It took us awhile to find the Manta ray... More

We were pleasantly surprised to come across a large pod of pilot whales. Captain did an excellent job of getting us there and explaining their habits. Snorkel adventure was very cool. Nice that it wasn't as crowded as Captain Cook. Two sites for snorkeling, plus delicious breakfast and lunch, buffet style. Highly recommend this trip. Well worth the extra coins!

This adventure is almost impossible to put into words! To watch these magnificent creatures dance, and glide and ballet in the water below you as you float from a lighted board is just unbelievable. Often, the manta ray will swim less than a foot away from you, so close that you think they will touch you. What makes this snorkel... More

We went on the morning snorkel and were very happy with our experience. The boat was comfortable with plenty of good seating for everyone and the number of passengers on board felt much less crowded than many other tours. We stopped at a couple of snorkel spots and even with less than ideal weather for snorkeling (cloudy and recent storms... More

Can't go wrong with the Hula Kai.. A must if visiting for your first time. Especially for someone who is looking for a more upscale tour and if you're trying to avoid families with young children.

This tour is all everyone said it would be. The group is small enough to never feel crowded while being large enough to find people you can make lasting connections with. The first dive spot is when they tempt you with breakfast but a few of us couldn't wait to get wet and boy am I glad I did. Saw... More
