We booked High Noon charters weeks before our trip to Hawaii because of their great online reviews. As the trip got closer, so did hurricane Iselle. Not sure if we were going to be able to fish, we contacted Captain Dee a few days before our arrival. He assured us the hurricane would not affect our fishing and we were... More

I have been on High Noon for two trips now and both of them have been awesome. The first trip, we caught a blue marlin and two spearfish. On our second trip, we caught two big ahi tunas(100 plus pounds) and two spearfish! The crew is very professional and experienced and the boat has a clean restroom and an air... More

A group of six of us went out the other day with Dee and Mikey and we had so much fun! Dee and Mikey worked hard to make sure our time on the water was well spent. I learned a lot about the sport of game fishing, we caught some yellowtail and skipjack and then got an exciting hook up... More

Trever and Kirk showed my wife and I a fantastic day. Hats off to them. We hooked into an Ono that hit the lure on the run and jumped right feet out of the water. Hook pulled free on him but persistence and the right attitudes led us to a 400# blue Marlin being landed and than a 150# landed... More

Catching two Blue Marlin in a single day is outtanding. Gezz...if we could do that every day, our rates would go up dramatically!! There are nances to fishing in Kona and one thing we enjoy is letting our client know what we are doing and why. In your case, it paid off. Congratulations on a great day! More

We went out with Dee and Mikey and had a great trip. I don't know what that other review was about, but Dee certainly knows how to fish. I lived and fished in Hawaii for years, and all the tackle was set properly. Lures were where they should be, and Dee went out of his way to make sure we... More

Hi Katherine.. thank you for the great review. I appreciate the time and effort to do that. We are very happy that your kids caught those 20 lb tuna. As I recall, you missed one about 50 lbs after a nice .fight. Also watching that Blue Marlin jump was exciting too. Watching the kids catch those fish was as much... More

Horrible. Did not even come close to catching a fish. These guys were more concerned about whether the kids were going to get sick on their boat rather then fishing. The kids did not even come close to getting sick but they were certainly bored. It was clear the only intention these guys had was to drive the boat around... More

We are very disappointed that this client did not enjoy her charter. Our first bad review in a very long time. We always want to catch fish for our customers...it makes our day as well as the clients. We just can not catch a big fish every time we are out. This lady had a young daughter and since kids... Hats off to Trevor the cowboy and the future marina dad Andrew. These guys know how to fish! We rate fishing with the High Noon as a full five stars. Luke and I had a great day on the water with these two guys. Knowing that fishing is a sport and not a guaranteed Disney ride , we were prepared... More

Thanks, Ed for the postitive review for Trevor and Andrew. They do work hard to put our customers on fish. We thank you for the time in wrting this review. Look forward to fishing with you again Losing that 500 lb fish just outside the harbor shows you that it is never over in Kona until all the lines are... More

I was lucky enough to have a very enjoyable and fruitful day on the "Kona' waters game fishing with Trevor and his crewman Andrew on the 12th July 2014. I have my own boat back in NZ and have skippered my own boat and have caught a number of marlin over the last 10 years in NZ waters, but those... More

Capitan Dee was very accomodating and an excellent host. We caught a 200lb Blue Marlin, and a 30lb Ono (Wahoo). We released the Marlin and kept the Ono to eat. Our teenage boys wrangled in the fish.

This was the highlight of our trip to say the least. We had a blast, met outstanding young guides and caught two great fish. The key for us was to have no expectations. We just wanted a fun family experience and catching two awesome fish was a huge bonus. Whoever you decide to charter, know that sportfishing is not always... More
