When the waves are mellow this is a super sweet spot to swim and play in beautiful clear water and soft, white sand. Sweet place for kids to play in a nice little shore break and build sand sculptures. ONLY when the waves are MELLOW! When the waves are mean, it's an awesome spot to watch the locals take on... More

Got to magic sands right at sunset and it was a beautiful setting. My 11 year old son had been wanting to do some serious boogie boarding and he got all he could handle here. He stayed in the shallower breaks but still had some great rides. We enjoyed watching the more experienced boarders out in the deeper breaks. Eventually... More

Great beach for sunning and relaxing. This beach has the most sand on Alii Drive but is the smallest. A must visit as it is beautiful and close to town. More

It's called Magic Sands because the sand washes in and out, so the beach isn't always around. Be careful!! When the sand is half in, there are rocks hiding near the shore. Don't be the person that rides a wave into a rock, and goes to the hospital. That's no fun. When the sands are in, though, it's truly a... More

Magic Sands is a pleasure to visit as long as you are not planning your day around it because you may get there only to find out there is no sand. I love that there is lots of parking, especially for those who do not mind a short walk, and the bathrooms and beach is generally pretty clean too. It... More
