Great boogie boarding, has beach and area to relax. Bathrooms and outdoor shower available. Parking can be tricky. But a recommended stop

This beach is small but the view is beautiful. When my husband and I went, the water was VERY crowded with boogie boarders so it's not much of a swimming or relaxing beach given the rough waves. The view was gorgeous though.

We stayed next door and it was a great place to sit on the beach, watch the surfers, and body surf. Some days there is no sand and others it is a sandy beach. That's why they call it magic

This is small clean beach with beautiful views and perfect waves for small boards. The kids loved it. If you are not into riding the waves, watching them along with the surfers is just as enjoyable.

Beach is kind of small. I only went to body surf and the waves were big. Not too much glide out, but big enough

One of the most beautiful beaches in Kona. Small and rough water, but gorgeous to just sit and watch the surfers.

This is a nice beach, but it's always pretty crowded and there are just as good beaches elsewhere on the island. We were there for a week and didn't see the disappearing sands, but locals assure us it happens!

First off, this beach is tiny and doesn't look like those wonderful pictures. Second, the "magic" is that the sand can sometimes disappear but in order for that to happen the surf has to come way up and take the sand away and who wants that? Come watch as sand slowly drifts away and reveals rocks underneath? Overrated beach for... More

One of the best beaches on the Kailua-Kona side! Clean and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and hotels. Arrive early for prime spots!
