Definitely worth a quick and maybe longer visit. Lots of snorkelling happening, some body surfing and surfboards further out and along. Parking there or in side streets. Go early or late.

Not a place to just let ur kids swim alone. Lots of local boogie boarders. The waves can get big out of the blue and slam u really hard into the sand because it is not deep. Advice if u have no clue about surfing dont start here youll more then likely get hurt. And dont stand in the way... More

Always a great surf for the kids, shade, bathrooms, showers, parking and a nice picnic area. It's crowded on the weekends. We swam with these two turtles! Always nice.

This beach is small and has a small parking lot. We came here twice and found parking in the parking lot both times without waiting. The waves were nice and was not dangerous at all when we were there. There was two turtles hanging out on both days and that was a great treat to see them up close and... More

I am writing this more as a precaution than a bad review on the beach. The beach itself is very beautiful with white, soft sand and clear water. The waves are huge and can be really dangerous, especially when lacking surfing/boogie-boarding/body surfing experience. I had been out in the water for about 4 minutes when a huge wave came and... I gave a review for White Sands, believing White Sands and Magic Sands are the same beach! Clear water is great for snorkeling, and waves are great for body surfing or for boogey boarding. Limited parking other than on the street, but new parking lot is going in across the street which should help

We've been to this beach in prior years. This year it was so crowded, it was uncomfortable. We learned that the week before we were there, someone drowned. While we were there, lifeguards had to pull out another swimmer, and he was taken away in an ambulance. If you go to this beach, be careful!!!
