We did the 5 hour midday tour called “Beat the Crowd” which departs late morning to arrive at the snorkel destination Kealakekua Bay. Before that we had plenty of time to look out for whales. After a while we succeeded and hit a group of 15 pilot whales – even a baby whale was with them. We spent plenty of... More

First off we would like to thank Colin and Budda for a fantastic snorkeling tour. Both of these guys are very funny, extremely knowledgeable, and they love what they do (or if they don't, you can't tell). We chose to do this excursion while traveling on NCL around the Hawaiian Islands. We were told by west coast family members who... More

This was by far the best excursion I have ever done. It was thrilling, extremely fast, educational, beautiful undersea views, and a very funny and enlightened crew. (Thank you Shane and Blake) My son, Lance, is special needs and he absolutely loved it, laughed the whole time. Even when Lance didn't want to swim anymore, Shane and Blake watched over... More

Our family of 8 signed up for this excursion and hoped it would add adventure to our trip to Hawaii (Kona). We were not disappointed! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Speedy raft ride; beautiful blue, blue water to snorkel in; and jumping spinner dolphins at the end of the ride. Everyone in our family on this... More

We didn't know we were going to be on a powered raft for 3 hours for a short 1 hrs snorting. The raft was extremely uncomfortable. We have to hang on to our dear life the whole time. The snorting equipments were cheap and old, the water keep getting into our nose because it would not seal around our faces.... More

We just returned from a 7 day cruise around the Hawaiian islands and while in Kona we signed up for this excursion. We are a family of 4 (kids - 11 & 15) and all of us had a ball as did my 6 year old niece. The highlight for the kids was the boat ride - especially when our... More

If you like wild rides you will love this one. Good snorkeling too. Do not do this one if you have a bad back... they are not exaggerating when they say this ride will be rough. A thrill ride for sure.

Many thanks to Captain Andy and first mate Caleb for a fantastic experience. The boat ride was brilliant fun, action aplenty bouncing around over the ocean. We were lucky enough to see a pod of pilot whales and we sat and watched them come within metres of the boat. They were so fearless and everyone could get amazing photos. Snorkelling... More

My wife and I booked this excursion whilst on a Pride of America cruise in May. We had a ball. We saw quite a few spinner dolphins in the Bay. Unfortunately while earnestly searching, we didn't see any whales. Wrong time of the year. Being Australian visiting the site where Captain Cook was killed was a treasured moment. The snorkeling... My two boys, ages 9 & 11, and I enjoyed this tour so much we are making plans with friends to do it again in a couple of months. It was a first for the boys; two days later they are still talking about it! Our zodiac captain, Chris, and his partner, Devante, were friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable! We... More
