End of season for our Bocce team and what a great way to celebrate! Most of us hadn't experienced this place before so it was a huge surprise. From the moment we walked into the small venue, we felt welcome. The magicians travel around the room as we were served our food, just a preview of the real show coming... More

This is our 4th time and it was just as wonderful as the 1st three visits. The food is always delicious, service is wonderful and you are entertained from the moment you enter. Gerry treats you like family. If you are looking for something different and fun, put this venue at the top of your list. Well worth the drive... More

An absolutely wonderful evening (actually I have had several) at the CA magic Dinner Theatre. Your evening starts with wandering magicians roaming from table to table performing tricks/illusions and getting you involved. They walk away leaving you shaking your head wondering how they do it. Next, a nice dinner to enjoy as you wait for the "headliners". Gerry Griffin, the... More

It was Saturday evening and I had brought 39 of my friends to a small night club on Main Street in Martinez for a night of magic, with dinner and a great deal of fun. This was the third year in a row that we have bought out the whole theater and were able to see close up many slid... More

As part of a group that bought out the place (there are only 40 seats), we spent a lovely Saturday night at the CA Magic Dinner Theatre in Martinez, CA. Yes...Martinez...who would have thought! Included in the experience is a nice meal (roll, salad, meat & veggies and yummie chocolate covered bites) and a delightful show of magic that starts... More

There aren't many places outside of Las Vegas where you can see professional magicians. Martinez, California, a short drive from San Francisco, is surprisingly the home to the California Magic Dinner Theater, where you not only get to see impressive slight-of-hand up close, but you get dinner as well.

I've lived in Martinez for 4 years and finally got around to booking sufficiently in advance - it's usually sold out. Entertainment from the moment you walk in. The servers are amongst the performers! Other performers not on stage or serving are also mingling in the crowd doing tricks, perhaps budding professionals or darned good amateurs. When I say "crowd"... More

my wife and i have been here several times, usually for special occasions or with out of town guests. dinner is ok, but what you're really there for is the show, which is always entertaining and fun. great for kids, family special events, or anytime you want to do something different.

This is a fun place. We have been to the show many times and enjoyed it every time. We always take our friends that visit us the always like the show. Not only do you have the stage show but the magicians perform at your table and it is really something to experience. The trip to Martinez is worth the... More

Campy, schmaltzy And pure entertainment for all ages. Don't go expecting high end magic acts, go to be entertained by budding magicians. The food was generous and pretty darn good. The ambience is perfect for a small dinner theater with a twist. Good family fun in our own backyard.
