We thought we would be able to at least walk around this cute little park and campground when we came in October... Guess not! we pulled up and reminisced about the good old days the last time we came here. The off season really is the OFF season around here. Do they want me to come back?

On Labor Day weekend I drove back to Custer on my way from Jewel Cave and spotted Flintstones along the way. Looking toward the parking lot from where we were on the road, it looked extremely crowded. I did not expect to find a parking spot for some time, so I said... "We can come back later in the day... Looked cute and family friendly. Camping and a motel for kids and whole family. Did not stay, it was across from our hotel.

We started the tradition of going to Flintstones when I was a kid many moons ago. We took our children there every time we vacationed in the Black Hills. This summer we took the 2 grandchildren and they absolutely loved it!! There is so much to see and climb on and the train ride is the highlight of the tour.... More

Flintstones is a fantastic way to return to the roadtrips of yester-year. It make not have roller coasters or cartoon mice but is good old fashioned family fun.

We stopped here on our Black Hills/Yellowstone trip in July. Our daughters are 4 and 6, they enjoyed seeing all the Flintstone houses and buildings and the train ride. They loved playing on the playground and riding in the Flintstone car. Of course neither of them knew who the Flintstones were but they still have fun with it. All the... More

A fun place for kids. Clean facilities, welcoming staff with lots of local information for tours and sites. Camp site met all our needs. Wifi only near office.

Our young kids (three under 11) seemed to enjoy themselves but the oldest was a bit bored. The whole park seemed like it was on its last leg. Employees noted that this will probably be the last summer and it showed. Park was clean and train was fun.
