Nice area, not much wildlife at all to see, i would recommend trying to take a excursion or tour in if your looking for animals.. For just scenery taking the custer loop or snaking your way through the pigtail bridges will suit your fancy

Incredible to be in the forest. Scenic drive, full of beautiful trees and animals. We were right by Keystone.

Just got back from a trip to South Dakota camping. I would highly recommend this national forest for hiking, scenic driving, or just hanging out, relaxing. It has so much to offer. We saw so much wildlife, it is amazing. Get out there and hike some!

I can't think of anything else to describe this place other than "hospitable". It is such a warm, welcoming, embracing forest with an abundance of life-giving natural beauties...

A driving tour of this area should be included when you are seeing America. Beautiful, unspoiled vistas with crystal clear lakes and streams. Roads can be curvy but are worth the drive.

I would highly recommend this park for hiking or just drive around and stop at one of inumerous lookouts. The area is clean and safe. The hiking trails are easy to follow,

My wife & I have visited The Black Hill nine times in as many years. I suppose that qualifies us to say what we think. This is truly one of the most gorgeous places that we have ever visited. The hills look a little different each year, and it is well worth the trip from Pennsylvania. You can spend weeks... More
