Stayed at Blue Bell Lodge, also. Great from the start. Sept. 7. Started saddling up right on time, and the head guy picked perfect horses for each of us (Wife - Casino, Me - Stormy). Big shout for both Dillon and Kelsey (sp.), as they were each pleasant, knowledgeable about the history of the land, informative, and patient. It helped... More

We went trail riding and loved it! Two of us have ridden many times. The third person had had a bad experience in the past and was terrified. The guides (Esta and Kelly) took exceptional care to make sure she was comfortable and had the perfect horse ("Casino"). We ALL had a great time and will go there again! Great... More

We went the first week of Sept. and the average hi was about 81. Beautiful day and the wranglers Esta and Kelly were extremely friendly. My husband could not ride because they have a weight limit of 230lbs. My boys are 9, 7 and 6. They put them youngest to oldest close to the front with Esta. She was very... More

We recently stayed at Blue Bell lodge and rode at Blue Bell Stables. The experience was great. We liked our equestrian leaders and went on a beautiful trail, with tidbits of history along the path. We were only allowed a one hour ride due to heat, would have loved the two hour, but understood that the horses need the rest... More

We went on the 2 hour trail ride from the Blue Bell stables. The horses were very well behaved and very good looking compared to many trail horses I've seen at stables in other places. The trail had very gentle slopes and mostly followed a pretty stream through a valley that you crossed several times. The trail back tracked a... More

We had reservations for the 3:30 (2) hour horseback ride. Our instructions were to be there 30 minutes prior to that. We were and it appeared others were as well. We all stood out in the sun and heat until 4:10 when they began getting us horses. During that 40 minute wait no one came out to tell us anything.... More

We arrived at the Blue Bell Lodge and went right away to make reservations. When we came to go, it started to rain and there was thunder in the area. I opted to,reschedule as my two boys had never been on a horse and I did not want them to get spooked if the horse slipped on wet rocks. Glad... More

We planned to ride with our two grandkids aged 9 and 10; this was our first ride in many years. We had to reschedule our ride due to delays with our trip out and then rescheduled again due to rain....the folk were very helpful with this. When we saddled up, they would call you, and you would get on your... More
