Have been wanting to do this for a while and it did not disappoint. This area of New Orleans is enchanting. The architecture, history and vegetation are fascinating. Tour takes two hours at a leisurely pace with lots of shade. Bring a camera and a water bottle. Easy to park nearby then walk a few blocks to Magazine St. afterwards... More

We happened upon this store as it formed up at The Rink, a Garden District shopping area. The guide happily added us in (for $20, of course) Our original plan was to walk the district using the Fodder's Guide. This was way better! The 2-hour tour included the local cemetery and sever unique homes. Each stop was enhanced by historical... More

This was an excellent tour. The tour was much more focused on history rather than folklore/voodoo. That was fine with us since we had done a "haunted" tour a few days earlier. We had a great time and the tour guide was very informative.Would definitely do this again. When booking it said about two hours, with our guide who just... More

We really enjoyed our Monday tour of the historic garden district with our guide Anita. We were a little worried at first because our tour group had between 25-30 participants, which seemed too big, but Anita has a voice that carries well, and once gathered closely, it was no problem at all to hear her, especially if you made an... There was confusion from the get go. Lots of tours all meeting in the same area and not enough detail given about where exactly this group was meeting, just at the book store. Furthermore, some folks showed up without reservations and were added to our group, which gave us a rather large group which visibly ticked off the tour guide.... More

we did the Garden District tour with Leonce and the Scandalous Cocktail tour with Milton. Both guides were excellent and we enjoyed both the tours. We especially enjoyed Lafayette Cemetery on the former and the stories on the latter were enhanced by the cocktails [and absinthe] on the latter. [N.B. you don't have to buy a drink in every bar... A no-miss experience in getting to know New Orleans and its history. Leonce Collins, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining...made the 2+ hours spent with him a great highlight to our trip.

Friends who joined me on this tour had never taken a NOLA tour before and thoroughly enjoyed the informative historical and architectural notes weaved in with the fun. Definitely adults only with a sense of humor. Our guide, Milt, was the best. We were all fine with the price of the tour not including the cost of drinks as it... More

Wow! Historic new Orleans' Garden Tour was so informative...and super fun. We'd been to NOLA a half dozen times before and knew a little but taking this tour was an educational experience done in a very fun way. Nita our tour guide was AWESOME. We had taken the Scandalous Cocktail tour the night before with Leonce and had sooo much... More
