I booked this tour through Viator, and attended with my parents. Our tour guide, Bill, was a friendly older gentleman well known by a lot of the locals. He said that this route changes with every tour, so I would happily book this every time I'm in New Orleans. We went to Arnoud's, the Court of Two Sisters, Jean Lafitte's... More

Just out of curiosity, I stopped by Grey Line's ticket window to inquire about its cocktail tour. Equally curious, the ticket salesman asked me where I was from. "California, although my father was born and raised in Louisiana," I said. "Well, welcome home," he told me. That exchange is really what sold me on booking a tour with this company.... More

I booked a 4 p.m. tour for a group of 4 people, and arrived more than 5 minutes early. While we were waiting in line to purchase our tickets (before the 4 p.m. start time), the tour guide began the tour with the group that was there, served them drinks, and walked away without us!! While we were waiting for... More

We had a blast! The tour guide was very informative and we had too much to drink. It was so much fun. We not only had great drinks but learned a lot about New Orleans and saw things we would have thought to look for. I walked until my feet hurt but we were too tipsy to care.

My husband and I expected a few sample cocktails, and an informed perspective on the history of the cocktails provided by the guide. What we experienced was very limited, as we only visited 4 establishments, purchased several full cocktails, and a few fun facts about the quarter. The tour guide was comical, however seemed out of it and not informative.... More

The Original Cocktail Tour brings you to some of the oldest and most historic locations in the French Quarter, and explains the history of certain NOLO created drinks - the Sazerac (America's first cocktail), the Pimm's Cup, the Hurricane, Mint Julep, Absinthe Frappe, The Grasshopper, etc. Go with friends (preferably drinking friends) and make it an early evening of drinks... This was well worth the money! Our tour guide, Sandy Smith, took us to 4 different places. We started off with a complimentary drink at the place of departure and moved on to the places.... Sandy did a great job, filling us in on the history of each of the 3 beautiful restaurants that we went to, (plus we went... More

This tour is a great experience. Our tour guide Bryan gave us all the background on the drinks, bars/restaurants, and people who created some of New Orleans great drinks. As a bonus you get a detailed tour of Antoine's. If you think the hurricane is it you have a lot to learn/drink.

This was great. Drinks are not included but you get full ones made fresh by great bartenders. And you can take them to go so no rush. Also no pressure to buy a drink if you don't want too. I did thiugb and they were strong and tasty! Go to neworleansonline.com and get a 5$ off coupon per person. The... More
