My wife and I took this tour recently and it is everything it was made out to be and better. A little history and a lot of fun. Never thought I could enjoy a tour based on drinking. Our tour guide was Sandy and she was great. She managed to deal with an obnoxious tourist and still make the tour... more

I would recommend this tour to anyone over 21. This tour is full of American History that will blow you away. This is a must do if you go to New Orlenas but please do it on the first day. more

I got more out of this tour than I expected- lots of history and not just necessarily of the bars we visited and cocktails recommended. Joe Gendusa is very knowledgeable and entertaining. The best cocktail for me was at Muriel's, it is called Pimm's Cup. We liked it so much that weve gone back twice just to have it. We... more

My husband and I did this tour the first day we got in to NOLA. This is a definate must do when you get here, but try to do it ASAP. Joe Gendusa is one of the best tour guides that I have ever experienced. Not only did we get to try some fabulous recipies of concoctions originating in Naw'lins,... more

My sister and I did this tour last night. We totally enjoyed it and loved all the history and insights our tour guide-Joe Gendusa- shared with us. We could have kept walking and learning all night. Our group became fast friends and enjoyed every bar and drink we learned about. If you get a chance take this tour. This is... more

My husband and I had booked this tour several weeks in advance. At noon on the day of the tour (the tour begins at 4p.m.) I was called and informed that the tour had been canceled due to lack of interest. I have a hard time believing this because it was a Friday night and this is a VERY popular... more

I've been to the French Quarter a few times, but DH had only been here for a bachelor party, so he really didn't get to learn much about the area. We decided on this tour since we were only going to be in town for a few days, and the point of our trip was to unwind, not to rush... more

My wife and I decided to take this tour the first day we were in New Orleans. We highly recommend that you do too! Out tour guide, Joe Gendusa, was fabulous. This is not a "pub crawl" tour, but a very informative tour on the various bars and cocktails served in the Quarter. We went to about 5 places. Joe... more

We took this tour the first night we were in NOLA. Mary was our guide. Very, very dry sense of humor -- her jokes caught up with us with about a 2 minute delay. It's probably to be expected that a tour of this nature attracts people who are already in the mood for fun, but we couldn't have had... more

We took the cocktail tour with Sandy. She started by saying, "This is not a pub crawl" and my fiancee and I kind of looked at each other and wondered why we were paying her. Sandy proceeded to tell us that everything she was going to recommend was medicine and good for us, adding that she hoped we left our... more
