OMG, this tour is a blast. First of all, it’s interesting and gives you a little bit of history about New Orleans, the bar scene in New Orleans, the history of individual bars and of course, cocktails. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to some great places in the historic French Quarter. We walked around the city... More

This is a couple months ago but I had to write about Joe and our Original Cocktail Tour! He was so knowledgeable of the history not only of the cocktails we tried but the history of New Orleans and his own ordeal during Katrina brought me to tears - We will never forget him! Buy his book as well -... More

I booked this tour based on the reviews on trip advisor and you guys did not disappoint! Our tour guide was Sandy and she was great. Funny, energetic, but also no-nonsense. She encouraged us to mingle with the others in the group and told lots of stories about not only the drinks, but the city and buildings we were in.... More

My boyfriend and I (age 25-30) went on the tour based on recommendations from TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Our group was eclectic - couples young and old, friends, sisters - but everyone was excited to drink and learn more about the history of the cocktail in New Orleans. One thing to keep in mind with this tour -... More

So, I booked a Friday afternoon tour for my friends and I (5 ladies celebrating our DIRTY THIRTY birthdays) based soley on the glowing Trip Advisor reviews. I figured: how could something with this many good reviews be bad? Gosh, was I wrong. I was worried the minute we showed up. Some kooky female tour guide spent 15 minutes yelling... More

The evening we decided to go on the tour it started to storm of course and so we weren't looking forward to walking in the rain. Our tour guide, Joe, made the evening so enjoyable we forgot it was raining. Well, not quite, it was what we call back home as a "downpour", but it was very interesting! He gave... More

We have just returned from our first trip to New Orleans!!! ( it certainly won't be our last! ) We met Joe Gendusa, our tour guide at 3:45 on a sunny Monday afternoon. There were supposed to be 12 of us in the group, but only 4 showed up.....which was a great bonus to us! Joe led us through the... More

This tour is possibly one of the most fun tours you could ever take! The tour takes you through the French Quarter to @ 6 places that have special/famous cocktails. The first one is on the tour!. Take some cash with you there is at least 1 bar that takes only cash. Bryan knows all about the local traditions and... More

I read the reviews on trip advisor for this tour before booking and they all had excellent recommendations. It really is a don't miss, even if you do not drink. Brian was terrific and the history was very interesting. No hurricane or hand grenade on this one. The drinks were amazing, especially for the finale at Bienville House. More

So OK, the idea of a cocktail tour in NO is either a no-brainer or iceboxes-to-Esquimaux to begin with. You come here, you're gonna' drink. The major tourist attraction is Bourbon Street for God's sake! (I know the origin's different but let's not quibble.) The fact that you can get history, local lore, exercise, and sneak peeks behind the scenes... More
