Stopped in here after strolling down Frenchman Street and I'm glad I did. Very friendly bartenders, cheap drinks and killer talent on the stage. The young lady, Mykia Jovan, who performed that night was amazing. The crowd is very diverse and the place is fairly large, although there isn't an overabundance of seating. I would definitely go back in the... More

Terrific local bands, plenty of space on the dance floor. Just a great time. Love that it is open on Sundays!

We walked from the French Quarters to the Blue Nile. We past a few clubs including this one, but after catching an earful of Mykia Jovan's singing we turned around and went in. We arrived at around 9:30p. They didnt charge a cover. Drink prices are okay. They had a decent pour. I wish they had more tables. Unfortunately, I... More

This is just an eclectic bar with a nice choice of drinks and as far as we noticed, doesnt serve any food. We were only here for the music. Its worth noting from the time table on the door who is playing and dates and times. We watched an awesome blues and jazz singer who did many Billie Holiday songs,... More

I only went out on Frenchmen street when i was in NOLA and would usually hop from place to place but we would always spend a good 2-3 hours here. Reggae night was phenomenal. I think it is thursdays. The crowd is so chill, and included many authentic rastafari who are great to talk to. Smoking MJ os permitted inside... More

Probably a good spot but the girl behind the counter must have had a bad day ... Rudest person thus far in 4 states! Hope her day gets better - you may want to check this place out for music but we won't be coming back.

This Is a great place to come to and listen to music . It is a big open seating and standing area. The stage is big. The bar has good deals but sometimes needs an extra bartender.

Firstly the toilets were absolutely disgusting. No toilet paper, no soap and it looked liked its last clean was 1987. I left feeling like I needed a test for hepatitis or something, not nice at all. The music in the club was mediocre, glad we didn't have to pay to get in that's for sure. They had a good range... More

We found the Blue Nile on Frenchman Street, heard the great music and followed the crowd. Managed to grab some stools at the bar and enjoyed a couple or three beers while enjoying the live band and the Mardi Gras revelers. The bar seemed to be larger than several others along the street that we peeked into, but it had... More
