The Blue Nile was excellent. The music was great and the drinks were strong. I would definitely come again and recommend the place to friends in the future. If your looking for some good music and drinks you should definitely put this on your to do list while in NOLA.

My husband and I wandered into this little club on a recent visit to New Orleans. It is on Frenchman, just off the French Quarter. More of the locals come to this area to listen to music and get a drink. We enjoyed the Blue Nile very much. It had no cover charge the night we were there. The drinks... More

We like the venue with a vast variety of music. The cover with no minimum is a plus if you are not a big drinker. We were able to find seating if you are willing to wait it out with someone leaving.

Reasonably priced drinks... One bartender was amazing and the other sucked. So glad we stuck around to listen to the brass band at the end of the night. So worth it!!! Made the trip for me!

Headed over to the Blue Nile on Sunday night. 8 of us to be exact. What a great venue to hear local talent. Brass band was off the chart. Cold beer, Great music. Frenchman Street is way better than the Bourbon street scene. Just go to the website for the blue nile. See who is playing. You can't go wrong.... More

My husband, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, my son & his girlfriend ventured to Frenchman Street, the 1st time back for my husband & me in over 30 years. We happened upon the Blue Nile on November 8th, 2014. We were having a great time, mingling with & meeting some great people. I had left the table to go outside for a smoke,... More

This is a club in frenchmen Street that is the home of great artists like washboard Chaz and Micah mcKee and Little maker. It was a very nice experience.

Stopped in here after strolling down Frenchman Street and I'm glad I did. Very friendly bartenders, cheap drinks and killer talent on the stage. The young lady, Mykia Jovan, who performed that night was amazing. The crowd is very diverse and the place is fairly large, although there isn't an overabundance of seating. I would definitely go back in the... More

Terrific local bands, plenty of space on the dance floor. Just a great time. Love that it is open on Sundays!

We walked from the French Quarters to the Blue Nile. We past a few clubs including this one, but after catching an earful of Mykia Jovan's singing we turned around and went in. We arrived at around 9:30p. They didnt charge a cover. Drink prices are okay. They had a decent pour. I wish they had more tables. Unfortunately, I... More
