We did the Garden District tour and it was great. Was really cool to see the cemetery, and Dave had lots of cool info that wasn't just for the history buffs. Definitely great for all ages, anyone interested in Nola history but also who wants to see some of the gorgeous houses in the neighbourhood!

A group of six of us met Dave last week, we had a last minute cancellation for another couple and there was no issue at all. He met us right on time and we recognized him right away by his funky hat. We toured the garden district and cemetery #1, he was knowledgeable about the area, architecture and the cemetery.... More

This tour was very good. The guide was very friendly and knowledgable. There are a lot of tours available and a few of them are "free". Be aware that all the free tours do ask for a tip at the end. I gave him $20 for the 2 hour tour and I felt like that was a great deal.

We arrived Friday and stumbled around Bourbon st ourselves. Saturday morning we were excited to have a real tour lined up. We grabbed beignets from Cafe de Monde and walked the short distance past Jackson Sq to our meeting location. We were a group of around 6 people which is a perfect size for a walking tour. Our guide David... More

David gave hands down the best tour I've been on of any city. His history background allows him to dive into the interrsting facts while keeping the tour interesting. Keep it up David!

David was an excellent guide, thorough and knowledgeable. Don't waste your time with "free" tours, Dave is worth every penny.

We booked Dave for a tour of the Garden District over the week of Christmas. We liked that he was very local and had a lot of personality. In fact, there were a few reviews that seemed critical of him in his appearance, demeanor and that is when we actually knew this is the guy we wanted. Someone very honest,... More

This was our second trip to New Orleans and our second tour with David. I enjoy walking tours and he is one of the best guides I've seen. We went on his French Quarter tour the first time we were in New Orleans, and on our return trip we joined him for a tour of the Garden District. Both are... More

We do a lot of walking tours of the cities we go to. One of the issues in NOLA is sifting through the number of tours available! Go no further! Dave did a great informal, small and extremely knowledgeable walking tour of the French quarter and cemetery. He is obviously passionate about the history of this place and he explained... More
