Having taken two culinary tours of the French Quarters, it is difficult not to compare them. We took both because they cover different food establishments and gave different looks at the food scene. The Tastebud Tour is the newbie, and covers a different level of food places. The places we visited were the walk-in, no reservations needed, order your food... More

This tour was exactly what we had hoped for and more! It gave us a 3 hour walking tour of the French Quarter and the opportunity to sample different things that you might just not get the opportunity to have in the normal course of a 4 day visit. It is easy to criticise as a previous review has, but... More

I'm not usually one for tours of any sort, but this one enticed me as it had in its itinerary 2 places that were on our list of restaurants to try while in NO, so we thought it may be a good way to try all the favourites that NO cuisine was known for. The tour was average. Our tour... More

This was a great way to experience the flavors and to hear some history of New Orleans. Had a great time and had fun meeting new people. If you have the opportunity, take the tour early in your visit so that you can go back and enjoy the full meal. You will go home full but arrive hungry!! Our guide... More

We went on this tour on our first trip to New Orleans a couple of days ago. It was such a fun way to see the city. In addition to the fantastic food (come hungry!) the tour was also rich in explaning the history of both the city and the food that shapes it. It was well worth the price... More

I highly recommend this tour. First, I recommend that you come hungry because these aren't just samples you are eating! Second, wear tennis shoes! The streets and sidewalks of New Orleans have a lot of uneven surfaces so flip flops are not the way to go. The tour guide Richard Crawford used to be a teacher which makes for the... More

Whether its your first time to NO, or just looking for new things to do in this city, this tour has it all. History wrapped in great food served up by a knowledgable friendly guilde. We learned so much even after being regular tourists here. We learned about the different countries and people that influenced the cuisine. Do, come hungry... More

Be sure and go hungry. The taste of New Orleans food tour was terrific, our guide Lyndel Branuinger was a wealth of information about not only the food but the history and culture of New Orleans. The walking tour lasted about 3.5 hours through the French Quarter, the time flew by. I recommend you take this tour early in your... More

This was a good tour, but after 3 trips to New Orleans I had already tried most of the places on the tour. So for me it was a 4 star tour. If this is your first time to New Orleans, I highly recommend this tour. The guide was very informative and you learned the history of the food you... More

Just came back from New Orleans, and went on the Tastebud Food Tour. It was excellent and our guide Lori was fantastic. We sampled a variety of foods as we toured the French Quarter. I also enjoyed the commentary and learning about New Orleans. Would highly recommend this tour. More
