This has been the best tour I have ever been on. A great way to see the city and learn the history. I would say this is a must do on your first day in the city. The tour guide, Richard, is a retired history teacher so you know you will get accurate knowledge. We met the owner of the... More

We drove into NO and straight to the starting point of the 1:00 pm Tastebud Tour. I didn't want to wander around all weekend not knowing where I was and this tour was exactly what I wanted. Richard, our tour guide, is a retired history professor. He was GREAT. We visited 5 establishments in 3 hours. The value of this... More

You get a ton of history knowledge along the way but most importantly you get food! Even with the rainy weather we had on our tour the stops along the way are interesting and insightful. Jeannie was a great guide.

It is a good way to sample the local food. They do their research, have a story about all the foods and places you go. Good history information. Do go hungry because it is a meal spread out. Go earlier in your trip as they have lots of recommendations for other places to eat if you ask.

When we did research of what to do in New Orleans, this tour popped up and we were a little skeptical of a food tour. After reading all the wonderful reviews we were intrigued to take the tour and try all the wonderful restaurants on this tour. We went to 5 stops with our wonderful tour guide Libby. Not only... For our first visit to New Orleans we wanted to experience some authentic NOLA cuisine. The Food Tour was a great way to taste local food and get a great history lesson of the town. Our tour guide, Lyndel, was wonderful!! Very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun!

We recently took a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras but also wanted to enjoy the city for its other wonderful merits, most importantly, its awesome food. We already had an idea of a few places to try but they were all very "tourist-y." The tour we went on was centered around food that could only be found in... More

We wanted to try out many different places on a weekend trip and this was perfect. Our tour guide was Rich and he was wonderful. Rich is very passionate about the city of New Orleans and as a result, we were also treated with great history lessons. We visited 5 total places, ranging from po-boys to gumbo to beignets to... We did this food tour last month. While our guide, Linda, was lovely and knowledgeable we found the group to be too big. As we normally don't do big group tours we were a bit embarrassed by the whole group walking through the quarter and Linda having to stop traffic with her big tour sign. There is a lot of... More

Last week, during a vacation to New Orleans, my boyfriend and I went on the Taste of New Orleans Food Tour with Tastebud Tours. The tour was one of the best experiences we had while in New Orleans. Richard, our tour guide, was so enthusiastic and passionate about relaying the rich cultural history of New Orleans. He brought us to... More
