We took this tour on our 1st day in New Orleans. It was a highlight of our trip. Richard was our guide, he was a Pleasure to spend the day with. Richard had so much information about the history of the food, and about the city it self. We were so impressed with all the food and restaurants we sampled.... More

This is our second visit to New Orleans after 15 years. The first one was exploratory. This time, we want to familiarize ourselves with the city. Louisiana is noted for its food so what better way to know and sample Louisiana's specialties but thru a food tour. Our guide, Richard, took us to several restaurants he would take his family... Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain the day we took this walking tour of some of the local eateries. But that didn't dampen the spirit of our guide, Richard. He was fantastic! He even taught this local a thing or two about the history of some of the culinary specialties.

My husband and I visited New Orleans for the first time, we were very lucky to have Richard as our guide, when he told us he had been a teacher and Principal I knew we were in for the best. He was great and the tour is an excellent way to learn about food and history of NOLA. We enjoyed... More

This tour was very good. Rich was our tour guide and was very helpful and knew alot about the history of NOLA. Go at the beginning of your stay because they give idea's of where to eat and get good ideas of what to do for the rest of your stay. As a solo traveler this was a great choice.... More

Enjoyed our tour with Nancy, who gave a wonderful combination of New Orleans history and introduced us to the classic food items of the city, mufalettas, Po boys and jumbalaya. Her status as a native heightened her credibility. This was our first food tour ever and and she set the bar high.

Richard was a FANTASTIC guide for the Tastebud Tour of New Orleans. An accomplished History teacher who shares great insight about the the people who founded New Orleans and word origins, with entertaining "tongue in cheek" humor. The food was great, we stopped at five different places to sample what they were offering. If you get a chance, go early... More

This tour is well worth the money. You sample 5 New Orleans specialties and it was more than enough for lunch. Our guide, Dave, was very informative. He even pointed out a few non-food related spots which we visited later.
