Hop on a streetcar and just ride it until you feel like jumping off! Visited the WWII museum, which was really great and informative. Then went on to jump off at Washington and walk five blocks over to Magazine Street where there were a lot of cool shops, restaurants, cafes and the famous Sucre sweet shop! Buy a $3 day... More

if you want to commute you may find them crowded but wait a little after morning commute or before or after even and plenty of seating. $1.25 for one ride or $3.00 for an all day pass. Such a deal and you can see most of the best part of NOLA

See the sights while riding a piece of history. $3 gets you a day pass for 'hop on, hop off' (can also be used on the bus) and it's a good way to see and get to different parts of the city.

Travel the city with a low cost all day pass. Much of the city can be viewed, and visited by this quaint method of transportation. Note there are numerous color lines with varying routes. Really enjoyed this mode of transportation.

We got a $3.00 each all day pass. As it worked out we only rode on time, from the Hilton Riverside to the middle of the French Quarter.. We could have paid $1.50 each instead. No big deal.

$3 for all day or £9 for all week, great way to see the city and cheap. Whats not to like? They are authentic and travel at a nice pace so you see everything .

40cents if you're seniors like us. Tour historic Charles Street and the garden district! Ride up and down Canal Street or go to the French Market. Even the regular fare of $1.25 is worth it, but for seniors it's the best bargain in town.

Really, Streetcars are beautifully restored to there former beauty. They are fun to ride and cheap to get around. The operators we experienced are rude and unfriendly considering most of their business is tourists. Con- cars only take exact change ($1.25/trip) but don't take plastic. Fix that! Hint- It's only $3.00 all day to ride.

My cousin and I took the St. Charles street cars every day during our visit to New Orleans. We walked to the stops and always felt safe waiting and riding the street cars. Some of them clang terribly like an MRI machine, but that's just part of the charm. Riding the street cars gave us lovely opportunities to talk to... More
