Great place for music and food and friends. Staff is attentive and southern sweet! Chelsea is money for their staff ... Friendly and informative. She pointed us to the crawfish bites and didn't miss! What a experience in this music rich culture. An amazing getaway from the busyness of the city to just hang and hear good music. I'm not... More

We went here two nights in a row and had a great time both nights. It is a little schizo, prior to 9 pm some nights, they have a sit down not so great restaurant. After 9 pm or so, the tables are removed and the party starts. If you are seated at a table, you will need to get... More

I bought two VIP tickets on ticketweb.com for a Slick Rick concert at this premise and it was a disappointment. They didn’t tell us that the VIP means upstairs in order to see better and when we understood by ourselves and showed our tickets to stairs entrance they said it’s not possible. This is a small bar with a very... More

We looked for dinner with music and found Maison. We called but they don't accept reservations, but we went anyway and only had a short wait until we got a seat. The band playing was great, and the place was packed providing a great atmosphere. The food was nice. We shared a starter (southern sampler of local favourites) and for... More

We were visiting from the UK to celebrate Mardi Gras. Came across this restaurant, playing live music. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about it. Extremely rude waiter, walked off in the middle of taking our order, with no apology. Below average food and dreadful wine. Would not recommend, there are much better in NOLA.

We had been told to visit Frenchman St and came across Maison. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening there. I would recommend getting there early to get a table as it was packed by about 9pm. We shared a bottle of wine, had a meal and just enjoyed an evening of jazz with a band called The Messy Cookers. They were... More

Went for a walk down Frenchman street and was drawn in by the music. Started a little early so it was nice to get somewhat of a private concert. We decided to order something to eat. Waitress was rude (words came out nice but facial expressions and body language made you feel like you were annoying her). Food was horrible... More

It is a classic in New Orleans. Nice place to eat and listen to music on Frenchmen street. I like Frenchmen st because it is a bit less touristic than bourbon st. Locals tend to go there rather than bourbon st. They some original cocktails.
