Great jazz, terrible food.

Wonderful staff, small venue with a little dance floor. We saw the Dapper Dandies and they were great. Ordered some snacks and they were universally awful--avoid the garlic... read more

This was one of only 2 places our group went to more than once on our week long trip. The music was always kickin, fun, and great. They had my favorite drink in all of New Orleans, the "Port of New Orleans". Would definitely come back.

Loved it. Excellent atmosphere and great staff. The tables were really good and all had a good view of the stage which is good as some bars lacked this. Drinks were good value for money too.

A little different here. Most of the clubs we went to in December 2013 were small and more "intimate" seating, but this place is jamming. Much larger space, still tough to get a seat but definitely worth the wait. We had dinner and listened to a couple of different bands. The food was fabulous and I don't think N.O. had... More

Wonderful staff, small venue with a little dance floor. We saw the Dapper Dandies and they were great. Ordered some snacks and they were universally awful--avoid the garlic fries at all costs--but we weren't there for the food. The night we were there a transformer blew and the power went out, but the singer of the band just kept belting.... More

Awesome night on Frenchman Street. So much fun jumping from club to club. This one was large with excellent bartenders. Really fun band (New Orleans Swamp Donkeys) kept the crowd moving.

When in NOLA, Frenchmen St is the place to go for music. There are many lively bars with great music. We were drawn to Maison by the open atmosphere & amazing musicians that we could see even before entering. Many of the bars are shrouded in curtains...probably wonderful spots but a little intimidating. Maison is lively & friendly. The food... More

Located on Frenchman street, Maison is non-stop Jazz from about 7pm until whenever. The requirement is a one drink per set with each set about 45 minutes with a 15 minute break - no cover. They offer food, although I did not partake. Drinks are served in proper glasses until the bartenders tire of washing dishes when the switch to... More

Stopped in for a bite and some music. The pork po boy was yummy. The bar has room for a bit of dancing. This is a chill place to catch a free show on a friday afternoon, but don't forget to tip the band!
