Our evening cruise was at 7 and there were a few people waiting to board with a photographer there to take photos but for whatever reason would not do them ahead of time as people were getting restless and we along with others said no to the phots when he finally went to take them. The meal and the 3... More

The boat is nice and the tour itself is good with the benefit of not just cruising the Mississippi but also getting to jump off at the battlefield site. There are some things they need to fix though. The boarding process was terrible, a large group of school kids just happened to arrive just before us and it seemed like... More

Something that we just had to do as we had never been to this part of the USA. The rip was ok at first but after a while got a bit on the boring side. Ok for the price

A leisurely round trip on the Mississippi to Chalmette Battlefield including the site of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans and Jean Lafitte Park.

We took a wonderful cruise on the historic Mississippi during the morning and were treated to excellent views of the City. BE SURE OT TO BRING FOOD TO THE SHIP AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOARD UNTIL YOU FINISH EATING. The captain provided lots of information about the development of the area. We also had the opportunity to... More

What a great way to spend the afternoon. Realistic Historic Mississippi River Boat cruise. Very informative narrative. 45 minute stop at the site of the Historic 1815 Battle Of New Orleans and Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. History buffs will certainly appreciate the significance of this stop. Even if you don't like the historical references, the grounds are... More

We took a 2 hour cruise that included walking around the Chalmette battlefield. The captain pointed out sights both ways and was very knowledgeable about the river and the battle.

We really enjoyed our meal, service and entertainment onboard. The group on board were a bit boring but that couldn't be helped. We were glad that we booked this tour but once was enough. Thankyou very much.

Enjoyed the jazz ensemble, while dining. Buffet included the local cuisine and was tasty. Cruised down river for a few miles and then back up river, passing under the lighted Mississippi River bridge.

Definitely would not do this again. And rather wish someone had suggested we do something else with that 2 1/2 hours of my time. I know people that would really enjoy that kind of thing, and it was informative. I just found it a little dull. I didn't eat on board, but it's nice they had the option to do... More
