We did the tour of the Chalmette battlefield cruise. While it was a lot of fun, there is not much time to enjoy the battlefield and park. In the future, I would opt for the river cruise, and drive to the park to explore it.

We were invited to a wedding that was done at the creole queen. Beautiful place for the ceremony, and after we were scouted downstairs for a sit down dinner. The creole was very spacious, and their service was very good. The food that was served was very fresh, and tasty. If anyone is thinking on planning an event at the... More

Awful experience! First of all getting on there were a 550 plus attendees and probably 400 chairs so we spent the whole time standing. There was not enough food to go around apparently half of the people on board didn't get anything some of us got one small ham and cheese sandwich. There was no courtesies from the servers apparently... More

Took the creole queen only because the Natchez doesnt do the Battlefileds tour (Battle of New Orleans) lovely old steamboat.....couldnt stop thinking of Mickey Mouse and steamboat Mickey! They take you to the battle of New Orleans, about 40 mins then they head back, didnt have lunch or dinner.....just wanted the tour and it was worth it.

My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner on the cruise. We almost missed the cruise do to the bad directions we received. The workers were very nice and helpful. The food was not great and it was cold when we ate. The ride was awesome my wife and I enjoyed the cool breeze and the scenery at night is... More

Originally booked to go on the Natchez. Unfortunately it was cancelled, so my wife and I decided we still wanted the experience. What a disappointment. No welcome from a MC when we arrived. The food was only labelled when you went up to the buffet. No explanation of origins of each dish. Drinks were slow getting to us, only arriving... More

The buffet is good the besties were the corn muffin, the desert which was bread pudding and I do not eat meat but my mom and brother loved it. The tour on cruise is the best part waiters are always offering drinks while we enjoy the ride and view.

we did both the natchez and the creole queen. there are advantages to both but the queen has a destination about 30 minutes downriver - the chalmette battlefield, where a rabble beat the then most powerful army in the world. the natchez does not, it passes the site but you can't get off the boat. the queen gives you an... It was relaxing and pretty but the bugs were EVERYWHERE and took away from it. I would say do it but just be aware of bugs.

My family had an excellent time on the jazz cruise. The weather was great and we really enjoyed the experience. Food was good, the people were great, and the music was wonderful. I would certainly do this again.
