The cruise was fine, some sights to see along the river, but nothing too spectacular, not the cruise's fault. The buffet was adequate too, you can eat after you return from the battlefield too. Once we arrived at Chalmette, we had about 45 minutes to hear the Ranger story of the site, and see the obelisk memorial and see a... More

Charles, the narrator/historian, on the tour was excellent! He was very informative and made the journey all the more enjoyable.

Jazz music played, we ate before we began to move which was a good idea. The food was good, the deserts were better. It was frustrating looking for a table as ppl tend to save seats and not return to what they saved. No tour, just relax and watch a beautiful sunset.

We booked the cruise for a chance to relax and eat and listen to jazz, what a excellent choice. the meal was great because you were able to sample all of the items. The cruise was nice and relaxing on a beautiful New Orleans night on the river.

Well what a great time we had on this dinner cruise, the food, service and entertainment were all faultless. The food was all homecooked no packet stuff and a good variety of local cuisine such as Gumbo, Jumbalaya, Cajun & Creole. The dessert was a brandy bread pudding and delicious. The drinks were very reasonable and top quality. The sights... More

Nice cruise down the Mississippi to the battlefield. The boat was nice, the crew was friendly and the trip was Informative, but nothing really exciting. This was included as an attraction with the Power Pass, otherwise it is not something I would purchase. They do offer a jazz dinner cruise that would likely interest me more.

We made friends, enjoyed drinks on deck, got stuffed with prime rib, and made memories! The views are refreshing after a weekend in the Quarter, what a great way to end a wonderful weekend in NOLA!

We took the historical cruise to the battlefield. I was a very informative and enjoyable trip. We were a little disappointed that the battlefield building was closed (Monday cruise). Charles was our narrator and did a wonderful job.

This was a pleasant break from the heat of the city. The bar has a good reasonably priced variety of drink and food. On the outward journey Charles, the narrator, gave an excellent overview of the city. At the battlefield he gave a tremendous account of the Battle of New Orleans and really brought it to life. On the return... More
