Really had a great time cruising down the Mississippi River with my son. The boat is a beautiful paddle wheeler and we had a guide who gave us a lot of great history. We docked at the battlefield site a walked the grounds for about an hour and then headed back up the river. Reasonably priced and food and beverages... More

Took the historical tour last week. It was in the mid 90's when we went and miserable on land but comfortable on the boat-we sat outside under cover and were very comfortable or else there is an air conditioned portion of the boat as well. Our narrator was Christopher Tidmore (I believe) who is a journalist and a very knowledgeable... More

We took the historical tour to get in a little education with our fun. The ship was not anywhere close to full for a Sunday mid-day trip. The crew were all very nice, and a guide kept an interesting commentary about the history of the area throughout the ride. You are free to sit in the open air on iron... More

I went with just me and my mom coming back from our road trip to Texas. It was a nice boat ride but a little pricy. They start boarding at 6:30 and had a buffet style dinner. They let you start eating after you've been seated so everyone had plenty of time. I loved that we got to sit at... More

Enjoyed the cruise down the Missippippi, lots of history and sight seeing. Recommend to all visiting the New Orleans area, take time out to relax enjoy the river. Great guide! Friendly personnel.

Thanks to reading reviews on tripadvisor we knew there would be a buffet on board so we brought water and snacks for the kids and that was a life saver. When we went the boat was not to full so we could change seats and move around. We really enjoyed the chalmette battlefield and the ranger that talked to us... More

We took the afternoon cruise. We did not eat, which was okay since the food smelled not that great (we went upstairs because the area where there was food was overwhelming). They explained all the sites and objects of interest on the boat. It was loud enough to hear, and yet have a conversation. It was fun!

Took the Jazz cruise a couple of weeks ago and had an enjoyable evening. The food - buffet style- was tasty enough and the server who looked after us with drinks was friendly and efficient. You get some good views of New Orleans and then once beyond the city limits it's less picturesque. But still it was interesting.

My Family thoroughly enjoyed the Cruise both from a historical perspective as well as the view of New Orleans from the river.

We took the battle field cruise. We went to where the battle of New Orleans was fought. The narrator on board as well as the entire crew were great.Once we got to the battlefield the park ranger was very informative.
