We did this tour with Butch. He was amusing and informative. The tour was the right length and the sites were exactly what we wanted to see. He was able to drop my parents and siblings off at the WW2 museum. He made some recommendations for eating which we were able to check out easily. Awesome time.

Our tour guide Sonny was awesome. Very informative and funny. We had an annoying lady from Jersey on the boat that thought she knew everything. He handled it very well. Would definitely recommend.

Was a fun tour, well explained by the tour guide. Saw alligators, turtles, wild pigs, raccoons, and the bayou! Highly recommend this tour.

Signed up for this swamp tour on Decatur street. Picked up promptly at the prearranged meeting spot. The van driver gave us a good overview of the sights along the way to the swamp tour. After checking in we were on the tour boat with our guide , Sonny. I had read about him on this site. He lived up... More

We did the swamp tour and it delivered everything it said it would. The boats are big enough so that you feel safe but small enough to make you feel that you are getting the full experience. Captain Greg was really informative and very humorous. It is so worth the money. I would recommend using their transport Nd that in... More

Hi, I had a tour of two plantations on Monday with bus no. 50 - our tour guide was great and loved the tour of Laura's plantation and the Oak Valley plantation!! Wonderful experience, when I go back, I will use the same tour company again! Lisa

We booked over the phone with Cajun Encounters and, just as promised, we were picked up at our hotel (there is a 30-minute window). The ride to the swamp boats was less than an hour from downtown NO. We had a fantastic tour guide, Captain Bishop. He was funny, informative and entertaining. He made the swamp tour a lot of... More

We chose the swamp tour via air boat. Our guide was a local named Gary. He was so local he actually lived in the swamp itself. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and entertaining. He made several stops along the 2 hour excursion to allow us to take pictures of alligators, snakes and spiders. He even spotted a young, approximately 3 years... More

Hi William0731, Thank you so much for your kind review. We must be honest, though. It sounds as if this review is for another company, as we do not employ airboats nor do we capture alligators in any way on our excursion. Although this 5 star review is for someone else, we thank you for thinking of us at all... More

We took the city/cemetery tour. I can't say we really appreciated the cemetery stop; it was short and hot and the white is blinding in the sum. We had seen Spanish burial practices before so we didn't learn anything new. Traveling through various parts of the city was enlightening. Our driver, Jason (remember me by the first five months: July... More
