I've wanted to go here for years, and finally made it on my most recent trip. We were there just for drinks and music, and had a blast. I couldn't believe that a round of drinks for 4 people as $11 and some change. Thursday is zydeco night and boy - people get to dancing immediately, and barely let up... More

We went to the Rock n Bowl on a Thursday night which is when they feature zydeco bands. We had a BLAST!! The band we saw (Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie) was amazing. They played nonstop for at least two hours. No breaks. No gabbing. Just great music. The folks there really know how to dance! I really liked... More

Caught a show there last night. Couples dancing (really dancing), great music in a family friendly atmosphere. We had a chat with locals who seemed rather perplexed that a family of Canadian tourists ended up there. (Oddly, we were all Acadian and distantly related.) A lovely slice of New Orleans away from the French Quarter. Go when there is music,... More

Great for a night off Bourbon Street. Is open until late and has a well stocked bar. The music was good, unfortunately there wasn't a live band the night we visited but the atmosphere was lively and a lot of fun.

We came here with a large group of about 30 people. Our price included two and a half hours of bowling, unlimited wine and beer for the adults, soft drinks for the kids and an unlimited buffet. It was a fun unique night and the food was surprisingly good. The only food I would not recommend was the pizza but... More

Decent bowling lanes, decent balls, shoddy shoe rentals. Great appetizers and snacks. Serves drinks. Cool ambiance and pictures on the walls. Parking. Games. Great for dates and families. Music always playing and bands play at night and there is a dance floor. Not just bowling. Lots of family fun. And they do business and birthday parties

Crappiest bowling lanes I have ever played on. Annoying music and crowded atmosphere. The locals like it - I am not sure why. The food was alright and the price was cheap but the experience well let's just say one and done for me.

Let's be clear - Rock-N-Bowl was the first, they still do it better than everyone else and there is no other place to be during New Years, Family Gras, Mardi Gras, Jazziest, Fantasy Fest, etc. It is not on Bourbon Street and you should take a taxi to & from. Have a custom embroidered bowling shirt made while enjoying the... More

Thursday night is zydeco night at Rock n Bowl and couldn't be a finer American musical experience. Suggest that you eat before you Rock n Bowl as food is not their strong suit. This place is a must do for any visit we make to NOLA. On our most recent visit the headliner cancelled a few hours before the show... More
