A really terrific way to spend the evening! Get out of the Quarter and get into the real city! Dancing and listening to a live zydeco band in a 1940's bowing alley... where everyone is having a great time ...and there is bowling! Drinks are cheap, the beer is cold and nobody cares if you can do the two step... More

Went to Rock n Bowl for live music and was not disappointed. This place has it all. Great drink prices, not too crowded, and a really fun place to hang out. And there's bowling!!! If you're up for live music that's not the traditional dixieland jazz playing in every other bar, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

While visiting a friend I was told we had to experience Rock 'N Bowl since words would not do it justice. Exactly. Imagine a large, open, wooden floored gym with a stage at one end. That somewhat gives you a picture of this unique environment. As you walk down the entry hall you see posters of music past but your... More

My wife and I loved our trip to Rock n Bowl and it's certainly a world away from your usual bowling alley. The live music was great, and the band is set up on a stage right there in the main alley. So you can bowl to your heart's content and still listen to it. The most surprising thing was... More

This place is unbelievable. Clean, well lit, and great music. And there's a bowling alley. It's about a 15 minute ride from the Quarter and on Saturday nights, it's about a $10 cover. We saw Bonerama and they were fantastic. The place is plenty big, so you can spread out if you need a break from dancing. Everyone that works... More

Caught Bad of Doughnuts at the Rock & Bowl. What a fun show! Their Michael Jackson set was killer, oops, Thriller! Love the new venue.

my husband and i went out to this place with some friends that live in Marerro. We didnt want to go to Bourbon or French quarter because of Essence festival and the recent shootings in NOLA> NOLA is one of my happy places, but sometimes trying something new is fun! We had never been here, the band that played was... More

Classic bowling lanes, full bar, good food and dancing to live music! A great place to see, hear and dance to local New Orleans and national musical artists. Eric Lindell was playing the night we were there and the music was fantastic. You could not stand still, whether you were just bopping in place or dancing, with or without a... More
