My first impression of this place was one of horror. Great time with New Orleans performer Tab Benoit on New Years Eve. He is an incredible blues guitar player and singer with touches of country, zydeco, even a little soul. I guess he got his start at the Rock N Bowl 18 years ago so even though he is a successful recording artist , he remembered where he came from.... more

This place is an original! I would advise folks to call ahead, the newspaper listing about zydeco night turned out to be swing dance night. There is a dance school right next door and after lessons, the group trouped up there to practice. It was worth it even though I had hoped for zydeco. Taking a cab is a good... more

Great music. Dancers that won't stop. One guy I saw never missed a dance through the whole set. When the band took a break he danced himself into the rest room. We come back whenever we can. No comment on the bowling lanes, did not go 1000 miles to bowl. more
