The original New Orleans Movie Tour was great. Our tour guide knew his movies and New Orleans. The van was comfortable and the movie clips really helped you recognize the sites. I really enjoyed seeing Sandra Bullock, John Goodman and Brad/Angeline's houses as well.

The van was waiting for us on time and right where it was supposed to be. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and talked throughout the tour - but also showed actual film clips at each location he took us to. It was a great two hour!

Jonathan the tour guide is a fountain of information and humorous stories. We were lucky enough to come across 3 movie sets in production. Lots of interesting back stories. Highly recommend!

The best part was when the van drove through streets following the path of chase scenes on movies that were showing inside the van the same streets where we were traveling. Only a few near misses with other vehicles and lots of fun. We got a list of movies that were filmed in New Orleans. Lots of great tidbits about... More

Decided to go as had my eleven year old daughter and thought there may be more interest than the Jazz. It was great. Jonathan knows his stuff and loves his tour, a nice view of city as well as interesting facts about N'awlins film industry. It was a good day with a quick glimpse of a film in situ (sadly... More

I saw this tour the first time we came to New Orleans but we ended up not doing it, so on our return trip it was a must do! We booked last minute... Around 1pm for a 3:30 tour. Did it all online and wasn't a problem at all. It was a rainy afternoon, but a great tour! Jonathan was... More

Very informative and interactive. We enjoyed watching the movie clips while we were at each location. Jonathon was fun and very energetic and shared some of his personal experiences in the movie business. We sat in the back of the van... I would not suggest that for people who get motion sickness! Overall, a great time!

I came to NOLA to learn about the film industry here and this tour was the first thing I did to get a feel for it. Prior to the tour I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be very informative or worth the $40. However, as soon as the tour started Jonathan immediately put my fears to rest. Not... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
