If you enjoy good beer and good music, you should go here. There are some great places on Frenchmen, but none can compare to the excellent selection of beer at dba. I appreciate good beer...not that watered down stuff labeled as beer.

Place was packed to see the fabulous John Butte. You could not ask for better music and since we were there for the festival that is saying something. People were jammed in dancing, singing and just enjoying the experience. Drinks were good and they even had free cold water to cool down. The only issue mostly caused by the fact... More

Arrived at 9 to see band on at 10. Paid $10 cover. Each. As of 11:01, no sign of band. Unprofessional.

Really enjoy this spot on Frenchmen. Very good beer selection, also enjoyed their take on a dark and stormy. Their set up is good with the bar split between the band area and a quieter half to talk if you like. Great fun local bands!

We love Frenchmens Street and stopped at d.b.a.twice. It wasn't our favorite spot, but we never had an issue finding a seat. They charge a cover here for bands, where other places don't.

The bookings speak for themselves, so let me just chime in and say that this is a terrific, warm, and modest-sized bar, with good sightlines and a surprisingly fine and large craft beer list.

Great beer, great music! Fun spot to hang for a while. Not sure if there is always a cover to get in but it was minimal when we went. Fun band, lively crowd. Good times.

I love this spot in NOLA for great local horn bands and a great beer selection! My friends and I were looking for authenticity when we went to Frenchmen Street one Thursday night. It doesn't get any louder and heart thumping than this! We rocked out to a 12 piece horn band that somehow managed to fit on their small... More

One of the bars we visited on Frenchmen Street. There was an charge on the door to enter (about $5) and the drinks were fairly pricey as we had a couple of glasses of wine each but the extra price was worth it for the good jazz. The place had a nice vibe that I cannot exactly describe but it... More
