This is a great place to see a band. Lots of beers on tap, lots of fun people. I had a tremendous time there watching Skinny Tuba, which was the first act. After nine, it got a little crowded. One of a number of really great places in Faubourg Marigny.

d.b.a is a go to place for hanging out with friends. There are a lot of beer and drink options. The live music is always really great as well. Sometimes there's a cover ($5 or $10) but the bands we saw are always worth it. We love to hang out in the window booths, but they go quickly. There could... More

With all the clubs offering live jazz music on Frenchman, one would think the staff here would be a little more consumer-friendly. The first bartender (Thing 1) never even acknowledged that someone was standing there waiting to order. She just walked away. It only went downhill from there. The second one at least acknowledged us and took our drink order,... More

Glen David Andrew, do you know him? We did not prior to coming to d.b.a. on a Monday night. If you don't know him get to know him he is amazing. Fantastic beer selection and if this is the talent on a Monday night I can't even imagine who plays here on the weekends!! Great vibe, great service and Great... More

Frenchman street is the college / hipster area off, but not too far off, the beaten path. The whole area is good choice for the folks looking for a place to wander without the slightly pornographic vibe of Bourbon Street. They have the little street market set up selling everything from old spoons bent into wind chimes to natural bars... More

Nice place if it wasn't for the rude bar staff who accused us of not buying drinks and suggested we leave. We both had drinks which we had placed on the floor to listen to the music. We won't be going back. There are too many other welcoming bars to visit.

The place is rather large and split between the bar and music hall. The bar has a nice selection of cocktails and beer, the music half is a large area compared to other bars in the area. Nice place.

This was my first trip to New Orleans, I was lucky enough to have friends who live and work in the city. I spent a delightful September evening at dba club and the surrounding area on Frenchmen street. The crowd was friendly and upscale. There was an evening craft event in the area. Also Numerous clubs, restaurants and venues. I... More

The venue is nice and looks rather cool. The music was excellently preformed, not my musical preference, but I appreciate the bands talent. In my opinion, this venue is catering to a certain lifestyle...many would say 'hipster'. There was a $10 cove and a line out the door, so this is a successful venue. Let's face it, bars cater to...
