New Orleans is already full of culture and art, this little gallery added something more, and the staff in here are very friendly. The woman serving us gave us tips on where to go and frenchman street.

While most stores in the French Quarter offer souvenirs made in China, this gallery is a real treat. The artist has whimsical paintings, prints, dolls (of varying size and design) and much more. The dolls are made from his design by local artisans. Don't miss it!

Friendly staff, good hours, amazing artistic skill in different media. His bright, fun designs reflect the changing nature of the city, its people, music and food. This is a must stop during my yearly visit. Voodoo dolls make great gifts, and his are the best.

Colors, textures, vision, feelings.... A stroll through this gallery gives you permission to surrender yourself into the flight-full fantasies of the heart. Here, complete absorption into whimsy with a mad hatters view of the world makes everyday things, like a fish or a tree, something from the daydreams of fairy children. Colors dance with structure and love as partners in... More

We go to New Orleans about every year, and this is one of our required stops! I absolutely adore the cat prints, and once I had them all, started getting the dog prints and Mardi Gras prints!! I even have members of my family that request these as gifts every Christmas....so if I buy 2 prints as gifts of course... More

Put this on my list immediately as a must do. Very nice shop with my personal prerequisite - gifts/art by local artist(s). However I am surprised my fellow travelers find it to be #1. I was a bit let down but it was clean, visually appealing and had some quality unique pieces to commemorate a wonderful experience in New Orleans.

I spent almost an hour talking with Jamie. We talked about literature, history, Nazi Germany, music, and film. He is sincere, talented, and genuine. If you are in New Orleans, you must stop by his gallery. We took a picture together, and as a parting gift, he gave me a copy of 'A Confederacy of Dunces,' his own personal belonging... More

I looked around for a good thirty minutes just taking everything in. It was affordable. I bought a bag with a print I really liked. The dolls were good quality and fun not creepy! The staff person, he said he was Jamie's manager/assistant was nice and friendly. Wish I had have had more to spend! Nice work Jamie!

Beautiful prints and loved all of the gifts available. Even picked up a hand made wish doll...we'll see how that works!! You must stop there if in New Orleans.

I respect that over 10% of New Orleaners practice Voodoo, which can be a beautiful, nature-based faith that uses materials at hand to connect with the forces of the divine. I can't say I really respect much of what passes for Voodoo in the French Quarter--over-priced poppets mass-produced, and a fair amount of ego. So, wanting a souvenir of the... More
