We recently spend a couple of wonderful hours on a perfect New Orleans evening on the Natchez Riverboat traveling down the Mississippi River. A couple of suggestion to help make this evening enjoyable. Arrive about 5:45pm and appreciate there will be a queue. Once on board find a table at the front of the boat where the The Dukes of... We did a mid day no lunch cruise. It's good if you have ran out of things to do but the cruise itself isn't that exciting because there isn't much to see along the river. It felt a bit over priced for what it had to offer but the boat itself is cool. You can tour around the engine rooms... More

We went for the evening cruise, the food was OK the jazz band that played was a lot of fun. There was plenty of time to look around the boat, you can even see the steam engine moving the shaft to drive the paddle wheel.

My boyfriend and I did a Sunday brunch on the steamboat and it was really good! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was good, and the drinks were STRONG! I mean strong! We spent half the time at the buffet and the other half out on the steamboat relaxing. It was a very relaxing experience in New Orleans.

Cool breezes on a hot Mississippi night as you cruise along the New Orleans waterfront. You get some interesting historical information and a good Dixieland Jazz Band plays as you sip your well made cocktail. Crew was great! The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the so so food.

We took a mid-day non-dining cruise and it was lovely. The captain gave a running commentary as we slipped up the river and you get a real sense of how the city came to be placed where it is. A very nice way to get a real feel for New Orleans, arriving as so many people from the past did!... More

We did the evening dinner cruise and absolutely loved it. The buffet style dinner had plenty of choice and all the food was delicious. The cocktails went down extremely well. The staff were so friendly and helpful it really made the evening. There was a live jazz band playing which was great and the souvenir photos are good quality and... More

Enjoyed a relaxing 2 hour cruise on the Mississippi. There is live narration throughout the tour, pointing out places along the river and giving info about each location and the history of life on the river.

We went there at 11:30am (tickets were Will Call to skip all lines). Best time to go for a family. We headed to the restaurant, ate a good amount of fish, corn bread, pasta, frittata, and so on. The bread pudding is my favorite. Music was awesome and made for the ambiance to be perfect. After, my son and I... More

Been there on "Sunday Jazz Cruise" departing at 1130 with family, unfortunately the lunch ticket were all sold so we were just on the deck. So: 1. too hot to be with kids on the deck 2. no jazz on the deck 3. not too much to see along the route, so half of it was worthless and boring Bottom... More
