We arrived at the church just as it opened for the day and we were awed as we entered the building. It is breathtaking to say the least! The stained glass, the old statues of the saints, the altar.....I could go on and on. We enjoyed the peace, tranquility and beauty of the church as we knelt in prayer. St.... More

Brought the kids to experience what it should be like. We attended mass and stayed to pray the rosary. I simply love this cathedral. Easy to pray and meditate on loved ones.

Not only in the age and beauty of the building, but the essence of the worship. While visiting for a convention, walked over to attend the weekday noon mass. World class experience. Conservative and impressive. Exactly what one would expect. Has an 11:30 and 12:00 daily Mass. This church gets down to the business end of authentic Catholicism.

Beautiful old church, worth a visit! Check out the stained glass behind the man altar. The old pews are worth some attention as well.

This is a beautiful old church that should be visited by anyone who has the opportunity. New Orleans does have a lovely variety to offer, so don't just eat the fantastic food. Enjoy the churches too.

The wedding coordinator, Ann Johnston, was so difficult to deal with prior to my wedding and was a nightmare during my wedding. She made my flower girl... More
