Great mixture of history, local stories and background about area. Adults enjoyed the two hour tour but noticed the teens got a little bored after first hour. Tour guide knew her stuff and was only stumped by one question the group asked. Went out of her way to bring ‘local’ flavor to the tour by explaining how and why things... More

My husband, our 4 kids (ages 14-20) went on the Magic Ghost Tour this past Saturday night with tour guide Randy (I believe that was his name). He was very likable, a good story teller, well organized and obviously has been doing this a long time and still enjoys it. All 6 of us enjoyed the tour very much in... More

We did the ghost tour with Randy and had a fantastic time. He was very knowledgable and entertaining. We had a large group and he did a great job of keeping everyone together and keeping some of the rather drunk tourists in line without being rude. It was cold and rainy and was very accommodating to keep us all dry.... More

Our family took the 2 hour St Louis Cemetery Tour with Dawn. Fascinating tour. Dawn was punctual, professional, engaging. She was also passionate and respectful about the cemetery and New Orleans' unusual burial practices. Great tour.

We just got back from a weekend in New Orleans. It was our first time visiting the city. We took Magic Tours' Ghost/Haunts/Voodoo tour. Take the tour the first night you get in because its a fun historical tour of the French Quarter. Our guide, Randy, told great stories, was funny and we ended up going back the next day... More

We booked a morning cemetery for recently. Dawn was out guide and we set off at 10am sharp despite two no shows. That left a tour of 8 people and because we all joined in asking questions and chatting together it felt like a great group. One couple was newly married and that gave us some good banter. The tour... More

Booked the Garden & Cemetery Tour 10-12. Supposed to start at 10 AM they say get there 9:45. We were there at 9:30. Tour Guide had us wait for a few late people who didn't get there until 10:15! Mind you this is a 2 hour tour and we had lunch res. at a place in the French Qtr for... More

I bought a travelzoo deal for two walking tours...I chose the French Quarter and the St. Louis Cemetery tour. Each tour had a different guide but both were very personable, professional, fun, knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable to ask any question you wanted. When we were in the St. Louis Cemetery, there were multiple other tour guides from competing... More

A small group of us did the Ghosts/Haunts/Voodoo tour. Now I was expecting something a little corny and cheesy; because after all - it is new orleans. However we are all amazing at how EXCELLENT our guide was. I bummed I can't recall his name; a younger guy with amazing knowledge. I felt like I was taking an advanced college... More

Took the cemetery tour which was very interesting. Included a historic overview of New Orleans and a tour through NOLA Cemetery #1. The tours are at 10 AM or 1 PM which are odd times for a cemetery tour, but again, this is historic and hot a ghost tour. The cemetery is closed after dark anyway. Our tour guide was... More
