We booked a morning cemetery for recently. Dawn was out guide and we set off at 10am sharp despite two no shows. That left a tour of 8 people and because we all joined in asking questions and chatting together it felt like a great group. One couple was newly married and that gave us some good banter. The tour... More

Booked the Garden & Cemetery Tour 10-12. Supposed to start at 10 AM they say get there 9:45. We were there at 9:30. Tour Guide had us wait for a few late people who didn't get there until 10:15! Mind you this is a 2 hour tour and we had lunch res. at a place in the French Qtr for... More

I bought a travelzoo deal for two walking tours...I chose the French Quarter and the St. Louis Cemetery tour. Each tour had a different guide but both were very personable, professional, fun, knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable to ask any question you wanted. When we were in the St. Louis Cemetery, there were multiple other tour guides from competing... More

A small group of us did the Ghosts/Haunts/Voodoo tour. Now I was expecting something a little corny and cheesy; because after all - it is new orleans. However we are all amazing at how EXCELLENT our guide was. I bummed I can't recall his name; a younger guy with amazing knowledge. I felt like I was taking an advanced college... More

Took the cemetery tour which was very interesting. Included a historic overview of New Orleans and a tour through NOLA Cemetery #1. The tours are at 10 AM or 1 PM which are odd times for a cemetery tour, but again, this is historic and hot a ghost tour. The cemetery is closed after dark anyway. Our tour guide was... More

This was a very great tour! I did this one and another 4-1 tour with another company. This was much better, even though it was just about the cemetery. Don't forget sunscreen, hat and some water. It was much hotter inside the cemetery. This is a must do! Make sure you are comfortable walking because it is a little bit... More

I visited New Orleans in October 2014, knowing nothing about the city. I decided to take Magic Tours' "Ghost Tour" on a Thursday night and was amazed at how much information my tour guide - Dawn - had at hand and how she made everything so interesting. There were the expected ghost stories without any of the phoney make-up or... More

We did the cemetery tour with DAWN on a very hot sunny day. Dawn did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable on the tour. The tour itself was excellent! Dawn was very knowledgable and gave us a fantastic education about the cemetery, it's residents and the history of New Orleans. Anyone thinking of taking this tour should... More

New Orleans French Quarter is a HUGE subject matter. This is a place with a long and rich history. A tour to cover this area needs to move fast, be organized and interject the color of the area. This tour missed out on that. Our guide was difficult to hear (soft spoken), slow paced and didn't really give the kind... More

This is the only tour we have taken so far & it was GREAT!! We passed many other tours along the way & I was glad we had not taken them, They seemed so impersonal with like 30 people in each. Ours was a small group & we had a great time chatting with each other & Dawn the guide.... More
