We received a warm welcome when we walked in. We paid for the tour and were invited to have a glass of rum cocktail. The tour is about 45 minutes but covers a bit of history of alcohol making in the area and in the southern states, how the rum is made, the ingredients, the processes and challenges, why the... This was a fun outing on our 3rd day in NOLA with college age kids. They thought it was interesting to see the distillery process, and Jeff made it fun. Even though it is not a very big place there were lots of facts to learn and processes to watch! Jeff was a great tour guide (and driver), he said... More

This rum tour was VERY much worth doing. For only $15 a person (and they allowed our 16 month old in, due to our babysitter's cancellation), and a free shuttle ride = which is VERY HIGHLY recommended since the distillery is extremely hard to find, with a pick up at the Organic Banana in the French Market, this couldn't have... Old New Orleans Rum Distillery- is fascinating interesting and tasteful tour- Our tour guide Jack was amazingly funny and knowledgeable of the history of this rum distillery and the shuttle ride is free too.

From start to finish our experience was wonderful. Jeff was our driver and guide (do yourself a favor and try to secure a tour with him). He was very knowledgeable and personable. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The tour packs a lot of information in 45 minutes and you can't beat the free shuttle... More

It was a very nice tour, something different. They pick you up in the French Quarter which makes it all very easy. The samples at the end are delicious.

You really can't go wrong with a tour of the Old New Orleans Rum Distillery. The tour was only $15 a person, and had a free shuttle that picked us up at the French Quarter Market. As soon as you arrive at the distillery you are given samples of the rum and sweet tea, which was fantastic! The tour was... More

You get a ride to the distillery, booze upon arriving, a great tour of the facility, and more booze to wrap it all up. For $10. For what you pay for a beer on Bourbon St you can have all this. It's very worth the trip and the rum is fantastic. Go. Now.

What a fun time! The distillery sent a shuttle bus to pick us up at the French Market and we drove 10 minutes to the distillery. Once there we enjoyed several glasses of their iced tea--orange pekoe tea, spiced rum, and simple syrup. It is delicious! After that we had a tour of the facility. It is very small so... More

This is off the beaten path but really fun. If you call in advance they'll pick you up in the Quarter and drive you there at no cost. The best was the tour guide, who was also our driver. He was a wealth of knowledge, very funny and knows a lot about rum! If you see their Gingeroo cocktail in... More
