This was a GREAT little tour. I was in New Orleans for a conference and chose to do this tour based on a few other reviews - and I'm glad I did. For $10 bucks they pick you up in a shuttle from the French Market and drive the short distance to the distillery. Although it is possible to drive... More

We planned to walk Frenchmen Street all the way from French Market area to the distillery and so we did. We walked and walked and walked and we remember at least that the numbers of the houses were up to 200. We even crossed the road so we came over to the the shopping center. It was hot and it... I went to the distillery with a group of 8 on July 21, as part of NOLA tour. This is be oldest distillery in New Orleans. The surprising thing is that it's only 20years this year, even though sugarcane has been growing in Louisiana since 1700s. Our tour guide was great in answering all our questions and enthusiastic throughout the... More

Came here on a Friday afternoon and took the tour. The rum tasted great and they give you plenty to sample plus a cocktail! Jeff was our tour guide and he was what Made the tour! He was funny, informative, and interacted with the guests! He is honestly the best tour guide I have ever had in my life. I... More

Great tour and experience. This was fun to do with friends. It only takes about 2 hours of your day and you learn a lot about the business, as well as, the opportunity to taste different rum.

We took the shuttle from the French Market with Jeff as our driver and guide. There was one other couple on the tour with us. Jeff was very friendly and informative. He gave us the tour at the distillery, teaching us about the process of making rum while also giving us a lot of history of Louisiana and New Orleans.... More

One of the best distillery tours I've ever done. The guide was great and informative, and the history was very interesting. The product is really great, and I walked out with a couple bottles. It was a little hot on our July afternoon visit. Perhaps another fan or two would be good. Otherwise, definitely worth a visit. Do take the... More

We've been to New Orleans a couple of times since we moved to Louisiana but never knew they had a rum distillery, let alone the only rum distillery in state. So of course once we found out there was an inexpensive tour ($10/person) that provided rum tasting....we jumped at it! Richard, our "bus driver" as well as our tour guide... More

We visited around 12h00. Do not walk to go there, they have a shuttle that you can take from the French market (register first). It is not situated in a pretty neighborhood. The guide, Jeff, was nice and interesting. We tasted all their types of rum, and Gingaroo (their alcoholic ginger ale). Very nice and inexpensive. We had a very... More

The Old New Orleans Rum Distillery is the best tour I've taken in New Orleans. It's a ton of fun. To start off you can get picked up (free of charge) from the French Market to head to the tour. The tour cost $10, and its the best $10 you will spend during your trip. Upon entry you are offered... More
