New Orleans at its best. The gospel brunch held on Sunday mornings gives a real flavour of NOLA. We were seated in tables of eight and at our table were two locals, two Canadians, two from Wyoming and us two Brits. We got on really well. The food provided was excellent and plenty to go round and the artists and... More

My wife's birthday was on the same day as the Chevelle show, so a group of about 15 family and friends got tickets and the show was FANTASTIC. It is a small, intimate venue, the sound was loud, yet clear so anywhere in the room is a good spot. The bar had giant cans of beer as well as good... More

This was NOT billed as an after-set party during the Essence Fest weekend. The concert starting 3 hours behind schedule is not acceptable. Trust me that was my first and final visit there for an evening concert. The only good thing about this place is no matter where you are seating or standing it's a good view (small venue).

Kim - Thank you for taking time to write a review. We understand this show did not run on schedule as most shows do. We did anticipate the show to begin after the end of the festival, which is why it was advertised to end at 4am. We apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused by the delayed... More

I went to the first ladies of Hip Hop show at the House of Blues NOLA with 4 other people on Sat 7/5. Doors opened at 10pm, showtime set for 11pm. We were in line early. It was my first time visiting this place and a few others in my party. Tickets were general admission standing room only. The seats... More

Thank you for writing about your experience. The First Ladies of Hip Hop did not run as a typical show. It was advertised to end at 4am to allow for the flexibility to alter set times according to the end of the festival happening that weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience which may have been cause by the delayed start... More

Have a couple of drinks, eat a bit of their not bad food and go to a concert the same night! They often have two different music shows from which to choose. Have seen multiple excellent concerts here

Attended this Gospel Brunch again this year. The entertainment is amazing. Inspiring, hand clapping, hallelujah type show. Canadian high school band was in the audience and one of the kids played a piece on the electric piano and blew everyone away! Birthdays, Anniversaries recognized. Food is very good and plentiful. Make reservations a month or two ahead online as Show... More

The burlesque show was a lot of fun and ended with a pretty impressive burlesque-on-ice number. The MC had an amusing hipster-snakeoil-salesman kind of shtick and was actually quite funny. The venue was *freezing* cold however. I'm not sure if this is usual or if it was due to the ice, but I'd advise a sweater, ladies. We bought our... More

We appreciate your review about your experience during Bustout Burlesque. I apologize for any misunderstanding there was about the Skip The Line program. You can spend $20+ per person in Big Mama's Lounge, but still have to enter through our main entrance. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. More
