I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at the House of Blues. The voodoo shrimp was delicious. Also, the manager, Leon was very nice.

First, this review is in light of the business group we were with. We had a private, huge, room upstairs with a live band, open bar and buffet. The drinks were top shelf and music was great. The service staff was extremely nice and helpful. The buffet, however, was nothing to compare to their other menu items. Don't want to... More

The gospel entertainment touched my soul and started my day off perfectly. I'm not very religious, but I sure enjoyed the high quality, the energy, and the message of the singers. They performed for about 1.5 hours. The food was varied and tasty, but it could have been hotter. All in all, a wonderful event! Make your reservation directly with... More

We had a q quick dinner at the HOB. I was most impressed by the extensive menu which included not just Cajun fare, but a wide variety of other offerings. I had the French Dip sandwich which was excellent. The service was top notch and the restaurant was clean and seemed to run very efficiently. I would definitely return again... More

Our menu was designed to offer a little something for everyone. It includes Southern specialties like Jambalaya and our take on Shrimp & Grits, plus American classics like hamburgers and a variety of salads. We appreciate the time you took to write a review about our restaurant. Cheers! More

A must do if in New Orleans on Sunday morning. Large buffet of food featuring prime rib, bbq chicken, salads, breakfast foods, mimosas, and the entertainment is uplifting and spiritual for a great Sunday morning start. (Religious or not it's still a great way to start the day)

We made the mistake of assuming the House of Blues would play Blues. Be sure to check what group is playing and what type of music they play.

I own a Multi Million Dollar Company, the Internet Sales 20 Group LLC and regret wasting $12,000 with this horrible venue. They didn't care at all about my clients, they were NOT attentive, they were NOT helpful. We did a benefit for a man that lost his six year old son and we told them every Dollar we can save... More

They brought in a jazz band which was excellent. The food was also great. There were many shrimp and other dishes that were not vegetarian but they also had some really great vege dishes. The bourbon bread pudding was some of the best I have ever had.

We went for supper the other night, there was a large party going on and we had we had to ask about going into the restaurant. I had ordered a Cesar salad, felt I needed some vegetables after all of the fried food, the lettuce was old, almost soggy, no bacon, and two some slices of what seemed like stale... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
