Very nice movie theatre. I love the concept of being able to order off a menu & have food delivered to your seat. The seats are very comfortable - like the first class seats you wish you could fly in on international flights! The menu selection has various popcorn & hot & cold options. There are vegetarian options but I... More

Great upscale mall with a lot of high end stores. I just wish they had. A greater selection stores so that one doesn't have to leave the downtown area to go shop. One thing this place is definitely missing is an apple store! Also check out the barber shop on the 3rd floor. It's hidden away from public view near... More

The theatre is high-end, based on the 2nd floor of the expensive mall on Canal Street. The main "draw" for this theatre is that food and drink is served to you at your seat. The seats are large and comfy and this isn't a problem at the beginning BUT they will continue to serve all throughout the movie! So instead... More

I don't get the idea of being served food while I'm watching a movie. The wait staff did their best to be quiet, but they did in fact walk right in front of the screen. Fortunately, we were watching a forgettable movie "Her" (great performance from Joaquin Phoenix, but boring film) so it didn't matter much. And of course, there... More

The seats are roomy and comfortable and it is nice that only adults 18 and older are allowed, but I would only recommend going to this theater to view the movie. I would not eat or order anything while there. We initially visited this theater less than a month after the remodel and opening. It was great, but only on... More

All upscale shops at this mall. My reason to go was for a movie. Great experience. You buy your tickets from a machine and pick your seats. You are escorted to your seats which are lounge chairs. Someone comes to take your order for drinks and meals, specialty popcorn, etc. All was very good. No riffraf!

I am a New Orleans local and I visited the usually tourist-filled Canal Place today. I was not shopping for anything in particular and I was awaiting a dinner reservation. I amazes me how this place remains a viable shopping facility? I assume that the ultra wealthy shop here? The average family income in Louisiana is about $30,000 which you... More

We took a much needed break from the heat by stopping in to see The Butler while we were in town. Great experience! The food and drinks available from your seat is a great touch, and the theater seating was very comfortable. Will certainly stop here again!

My fiancée and I went to see We're the Millers at Canal Place and all I can say is that it is a fantastic movie theatre. Reserved seating, upscale meals and drinks, good picture and sound quality, the ability to order food from your seat... it's a great place to take in a movie!

One of New Orleans only shopping centers. Nice shops, eateries and a movie theater. There are a few high end shops and some that are not so high end. It's worth a visit and it's close to all the activities of Downtown.
