Owner description: New Orleans is so more than the French Quarter and we want to show you what most visitors don't get to experience. The heart of our city is seen through its many other historic neighborhoods, such as the beautiful Faubourg Marigny; and there is no better way to explore them than with New Orleans' original bicycle tour company. Join us as we take you for a bike ride around the old Creole neighborhoods and tell you the stories of the New Orleans that most tourists miss. The ride is relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like. For those who want to delve a little deeper, we offer a tasty Neighborhood Culinary Tour and a Historic Drinking Tour (where you get to indulge as you learn), all travelling through our streets like the locals do, on easy to ride classic cruiser bicycles.

This was our favorite activity in New Orleans. We were able to explore many neighborhoods at a relaxed pace. There is something about traveling by bicycle that makes you feel much more connected. Our tour guide bubbled over with his knowledge of history, jazz and rock n roll and I could have continued the tour for hours longer.

I was excited for the bike tour because of all the great reviews, but I was actually very disappointed. I think it was more to do with our tour guide, though. He did show us some cool places I never would have gone to otherwise, but he seemed to lack direction. He often asked if there was anything we wanted... More

Having been to New Orleans several times, and being cyclists, the idea of touring the 9th Ward by bike was something we put on our NOLA list, and so should you! Our guide Derek was extremely knowledgable, professional, and an overall excellent guide. He peppered his engaging commentary with quirky interesting info of not only the 9th Ward, but also... More

I'm going to try not go gush too much about our Creole Tour with Nick. Never mind that. I'm going to gush! If it's your first, second or tenth trip to NOLA you need to take this tour. Even if you've taken French Quarter tours, Garden District tours, cemetery tours, etc. I guarantee you will learn a lot. Nick is... More

The 9th ward bike tour was super inspiring, educational, and fun! The ride was easy. The depth of knowledge being gained first hand was so cool. I learned so much about the context of what happened. We biked around the neighborhood and were welcomed so warmly by everyone we saw. The tour guide was so friendly and open. I could... More

Keith guided us around and gave us a fantastic morning, his commentary was full of information and wit. 3 hours long, half of which you are on the move, makes it a very easy going time. We covered about 9 miles in total so a pace suitable for anyone who can ride a bike. Thoroughly recommend taking this tour.

We went on several tours in New Orleans, all of them were great but this was our favourite. We did the Creole Bike Tour and our guide really gave us a feel for the real New Orleans and and how it got to be the way it is today. Many of the other tours seemed to focus on the era... More

This is the only way to New Orleans. Don't bother with any other tours! Keith is a fantastic guide. Don't get caught in a tourist trap tour.

We did the ninth ward bike tour. Don't worry- it's not disaster tourism, it's just a great way to see another part of New Orleans. You will learn and experience a lot more than the typical French quarter tourist will get to see. Guides are great- if you're lucky, you'll get Nick. I don't think I've ever met someone who... More
