We did two tours with Tours by Isabelle, the “City/Katrina Tour” and the “Plantation/Air boat Tour”. During the first tour the sky fell out and it rained buckets, the streets began to flood before we had picked up everyone for the tour. There was a lot of traffic and chaos and our guide Muriel handled it very professionally. The rain... More

We absolutely loved out tour! Out guide Katha what's amazing and gave us a really in-depth history of New Orleans. Oak Alley and Laura plantations were amazing. Definitely don't miss this one!

Awesome airboat ride followed by a lovely and informative plantation tour with lunch. It was an amazing day, but the icing on the cake was our driver and tour guide, Ellen. She really made the day special. Anyone taking this tour should ask for her personally, and it will truly be a day to remember.

Fantastic tour a must do for anyone. We went for a nice air conditioned ride to the swap tour and saw many alligators then off to lunch for a true creole meal in Cajun country which was a 4 course meal which catered even to non seafood Eaters. Then to visit two amazing plantations with so much history. But I'm... More

We spent an entire day enjoying Tours by Isabelle's "Grand Tour," which included an airboat ride in the bayous with a colorful Cajun Captain (during which we saw numerous alligators), a delicious Creole lunch, and a tour of both Oak Alley and Laura Plantations. Our guide Joseph was wonderful! His detailed knowledge of New Orleans, the surrounding area, and local... More

We booked a half day plantation/airboat tour. We were picked up at our hotel in an air-conditioned van. After picking up the others, the tour started. On our drive to Destrehan plantation our driver told us all about the history of the area. It was great and we learned so much. Once we arrived at Destrehan, we were greeted by... More

Thanks so much to Katha and everyone at Tours by Isabelle! It was the highlight of my trip. The bayou trip was incredible, and the plantations were breathtaking. And the whole thing was complimented by the extensive knowledge and friendliness of our guide, Katha. I'd recommend this to anyone!

This is a great tour and learned a lot about post Katrina. Ginnie was a wonderful tour guide. She knows NO and explained the politics after the Katrina. Highly recommended this tour.

Ginnie was great! She had more details about the plantations than the tour guides who worked at the plantation. Great personality!

The swamp tour was the highlight of my trip to New Orleans. John was knowledgeable and friendly and made sure our comfort came first, which meant a lot in 90+ degree weather!
