This was one of the best tours we have ever done and I the best in the French Quarter!!! Ina, our guide, took us on an adventure with her stories and information about the family. We were completely engaged for 3 hours and that was the opinion of all 7 of us in our group. I would recommend this tour... More

Great tour - I recommend (even if you have visited the city before) that you do this on the first day. Gives great perspective on the history of New Orleans geography + culture. I enjoyed most going into the courtyards most and learning about the houses. Covered quite a bit of ground in French Quarter - even was able to... More

Mother-in-law mentioned a courtyard tour might be fun, so I googled and found this tour. 6 of us booked and it was us and one other couple. Tour guide was Bill. Great tour. Bill really knows what he's talking about. The tour revolves around the history of a family and goes to several courtyards in the French Quarter as well... More

Very informative and interesting. The guide was really knowledgeable. It's a nice take on NOLA's and Louisianna's history and architecture.

Tip: See the Laura Plantation first to capture Laura's entire story. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Ina, our guide, did an excellent job of bringing the Louisiana story alive. Starting with Louisiana history in the courtyard of a small cafe, we went on to visit the New Orleans collection courtyard, the Pharmacy Museum, the St. Louis Cemetery and then Elizabeth's city... Bill was fantastic. Have lived in New Orleans for 20 years and this tour gave me new information and dispelled some old myths. Scheduled this tour for my parents visiting from Washington State, and they were very impressed and enjoyed every aspect of the tour. The tour does include a lot of family history of the Laura Plantation and their... More

I have been to NOLA on business, but my wife has not and we only had three days so we wanted to make sure we did things right. I read the reviews on TA and had a friend tell me his experience as well. I booked the tour at the last moment (about two hours prior) and let me tell... More

We have been coming to NOLA for several years and have done lots of tours. We still learned more today about NOLA, history, and culture from Rosemary who was our very knowledgable and personable guide. The courtyards we saw were beautiful and the history both interesting and thought provoking. This makes a nice extension of the history of the Locoul... More

This was a really interesting tour centered around the history of one family. My group really enjoyed it and our tour guide Gwen. We got to see some private courtyards and that was cool. I would like to go in every one of them in NOLA. The only thing I didn't get on this tour was as much history about... More

The tour was a good one, but we must say that the guide as SO focused on the history of Laura Locoul that many of the things we wanted to know about New Orleans were left out or brushed aside when we asked. It seemed anything "off script" wasn't going to be addressed.
