We have been coming to NOLA for several years and have done lots of tours. We still learned more today about NOLA, history, and culture from Rosemary who was our very knowledgable and personable guide. The courtyards we saw were beautiful and the history both interesting and thought provoking. This makes a nice extension of the history of the Locoul... More

This was a really interesting tour centered around the history of one family. My group really enjoyed it and our tour guide Gwen. We got to see some private courtyards and that was cool. I would like to go in every one of them in NOLA. The only thing I didn't get on this tour was as much history about... More

The tour was a good one, but we must say that the guide as SO focused on the history of Laura Locoul that many of the things we wanted to know about New Orleans were left out or brushed aside when we asked. It seemed anything "off script" wasn't going to be addressed.

I took Le Monde Creole Tour this morning and had a great time. Rosemary was very informative, professional, and charming. Her knowledge of and passion for her native city shows through as she weaves the story of Laura Locoul's family with New Orleans' history. Loved the ability to go into the private courtyards; got to see parts of the houses... More

My friends and I took Le Monde Creole Tour last week and discovered so many interesting and intriguing historical facts about New Orlean's French Quarter. Ina (pronounced "Ena"!) was an awesome guide! The way she wound the life of Laura Locoul and her family tree into the history of the city was like watching pieces of a puzzle being subtly... More

We enjoyed an almost three hours walking tour based on Laura Locoul's family history and the whole creole culture. We learned a lot about Louisiana and New Orleans' history, saw some private courtyards, went into the Pharmacy and more. I highly recommend it.

This review is way over due and I apologize Bill. My wife and I traveled for the first time to NOLA in November 2013 and went on a private tour with Bill. I have to tell you that this was one of the highlights from our trip. Bill modified the tour to fit what we like to see and was... More

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Bill! He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and the Creole culture. We had toured Laura Plantation 2 days earlier and Bill's tour was the perfect compliment as he weaved in stories about Laura Locoul and her family. We even got to see some of... More

We took this walking tour of New Orleans and didn't want it to end. Rosemary, and all of the guides, are students of the history and culture of this area and know how to tell a story and bring the place to life. New Orleans is a very interesting and culturally complex city that is hard to understand and appreciate... More

Great information about New Orleans history. Went to courtyards and special rooms in hotels, restaurants that the general public would never see.
