We wern't really sure what to expect on this walking tour and were very happy we did it. Our guide, Ina, was one of the most knowledgable guides we have ever had on any tour. Her knowledge of the homes and areas we visited was wonderful and she presented it perfectly and kept it interesting throughout the time we spent... More

We took this tour as a follow-up to our visit to Laura Plantation. You get a $5 reduction coupon if you visit the plantation first. Our guide Rosemary was very well-versed and could also share her personal experiences of living in NOLA. The walking is not too difficult, but it is not designed for people with special needs. The tour... More

Thanks to our guide, Rosemary, we stepped back in time during our walking tour of the French Quarter courtyards and St Louis Cemetery No. 1! Rosemary was great and took the time to answer any questions we had along the way. She offered historic tidbits about the city and culture outside of the family history included in the tour, which... We planned this tour on the recommendation of Trip advisor and were disappointed that we could not understand the tour guide. She had a heavy French accent and was very hard to understand. We didn't want to be annoying and keep asking her to repeat herself but I wish we had had another guide. I imagine she would have been... More

What an awesome experience. Rosemary was our guide and she was very friendly and definitely knows her stuff! It was a pleasure to walk about the French Quarter with her and hear stories of Creole life and the Lacoul family. 5 out of 5 stars!

Paul Nevski took our group (around 10 people) on a historic tour in the French Quarter. The background of the visit was the history of Laura Locoul family. It was a very pleasant way to visit places and to understand how people lived less than 200 years back. It was not a visit of the places described in the tourist... More

Bill our tour guide provided such a wonderful tour experience of the French Quarter. We have done tours of the Garden District before but none was so in depth as this one. We worked with Bill to provide a private tour for just the two of us to cover the art, culture and history of New Orleans through eyes of... More

Our walking tour with Bill was filled with New Orleans history. He crafted the tour beautifully to incorporate local family names with factual events. He is a fine storyteller which is important because with so much history to impart it could get boring (as we learned first hand when we happened to drop into a training seminar for future tour... This was one of the best tours we have ever done and I the best in the French Quarter!!! Ina, our guide, took us on an adventure with her stories and information about the family. We were completely engaged for 3 hours and that was the opinion of all 7 of us in our group. I would recommend this tour... More

Great tour - I recommend (even if you have visited the city before) that you do this on the first day. Gives great perspective on the history of New Orleans geography + culture. I enjoyed most going into the courtyards most and learning about the houses. Covered quite a bit of ground in French Quarter - even was able to... More
