This is a must do tour for anyone looking for an insiders view of New Orleans history. We got to see some beautiful courtyards in the French Quarter while learning fascinating history of the city by a charming and gifted story teller. Thank you for a fantastic tour.

This is a must for a treat.....beignets, world famous. Long lines, always, but move so very fast....almost at a slow walk.Beignets (powdered pastry) are a bit messy but worth it.

We really enjoyed this tour and found Rosemary to be a fabulous guide! We enjoyed talking with her and found the tour to be relaxing, informative and fun! It is inexpensive and you go into a private courtyard and The Saint Louis Cemetery number one. The length of the tour is perfect for walking and we enjoyed the stories Rosemary... More

We took a walking tour on 1/29/15 that focused on life in the French Quarter through the prism and history of one family. The tour took us to homes, courtyards, an old pharmacy, and a historic cemetery. If you do only one thing while in New Orleans make it this tour with Le Monde Creole Tours www.MondeCreole.com 504-568-1801. Our guide... More

More than 10 years ago I took the Le Monde Creole tour. It was wonderful. I so enjoyed the stories of the Laura Locoul family and how it was woven into various venues that we walked to in the French Quarter. I took the tour again in January 2015 and was so disappointed. It was much more akin to local... More

We were on a group tour and our group coordinators picked this tour for us and we couldn't have been happier. We were on the French Quarter tour and Rosemary was very up to date and knew all the ins and outs of New Orleans. She was born and raised NOLA, so that was a plus. Even had the N'awlins... More

Amazing and informative tour. This is for people that are interested in history by an informed local. Really great worth the money. Highly recommended. Bill is an animated teacher and a great guide. Highly recommended.

This is a tour for people who want to savor history in its intimate, human details. If you're hoping to get a quick overall view of everything New Orleans has to offer, this may not work for you. The tour focuses on one New Orleans family who spans the whole history of the city. You learn through understanding the context... More

We made our first trip to New Orleans and wanted to do some tours of the city. Based upon the reviews, we chose this tour for our first morning in New Orleans. We went to the gift shop and met our tour guide Bill. Bill was very friendly and courteous and we started the tour. We walked for 10 minutes... More

In 2010 when the Mr. & visited New Orleans we stopped by Laura Plantation on our way home. It was a great tour and it was there we learned about the 'companion tour' in New Orleans. I knew if we ever made it back to NOLA, we would be taking that tour. I'm so glad we did. While it might... More
