Since moving to Madison six months ago, I have attended multiple events at the Overture Center. Broadway shows, performers, National Geographic Live, community events, and many other fill this space. Tickets are affordable and every seat we've had, has been perfect. Love the architecture of the building and how they incorporated so much old and new and made it work.... More

My boyfriend and I were there on Saturday for the Frostiball and to celebrate our eight month anniversary. The night was incredible and the staff was fantastic. I look forward to the next Frostiball I get to attend and I hope I get to go to a performance there soon.

Have made this an yearly occasion to see plays. Seating is great all over the facility. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and plenty of restaurants to visit.

We were fortunate to visit Madison on a weekend when the Center was hosting a huge cultural fair complete with food, music, history, sister-city exchanges, and a variety of arts, crafts, and exhibits. The facility is state-of-the-art and a well-designed blend of historic and modern architecture.

The Madison Symphony Orchestra (MSO) rivals orchestras hosted by cities many times the size of Madison. If you are at all inclined to hear a wonderful orchestra under the superb baton of Maestro John DeMain, buy a single ticket and try it out! You'll find the whole experience rich and rewarding! There's not a poor seat in Overture Hall (aside... More

We've been Broadway Club members for 8 years and had seats all over the auditorium and have never had a bad seat. The accoustics are terrific and several of the performers we've seen have commented on what a great venue we have. Whether you're in the Capital Theater or Overture Hall you'll have the opportunity to enjoy world class shows.

We saw The Nutcracker here with the Madison Ballet and Symphony Orchestra. Amazing performance! We sat in the Circle section - but I think you could probably see really well from anywhere. It was our first time here, but loved it and would definitely go back!

We recently went to the Christmas concert at the Overture Center. We had a blast. Next year, when we go back we are going to bring our Santa Hats for the carol sing-along at the end. We went early and discovered they have an informal concert by the Choir in the atrium before the concert. What a great way to... More

Madison's venue for theater arts, the Overture Center, cost more than $200 million, all contributed by an extraordinarily generous private contribution from the owners of the American Doll company. But its main attraction, and its raison d'être, the Overture Hall is the worst place I have ever attended broadway quality plays and the like. The seats are too narrow and... More
