I recently saw Wiked at the Overture Center and was blown away by Service of the staff. Every staff member we came across was so welcoming and helpful to us it made the experience that much better! I have taken my children to kids in the rotunda before and have always had a great time. Not to mention the breath... More

The show was fabulous. I was surprised at the seat prices $$$$ for Madison compared to other larger cities. But the seating and viewing was good. Large lobby on all levels to accommodate crowd. Several bars open on all levels. Enjoyable experience.

We just went to see wicked and it was amazing! Then auditorium is built in a way that makes it enjoyable to watch from any seat. The workers their are very happy and friendly and we plan to return back to see more performances!

This was a second time seeing Wicked and the first performance taken in at the Overture Center. The staff was friendly making sure we got to the right section. We actually ended up closer then we expected which worked out well. Looking back it seemed that almost all the seats in the place are fairly decent. Of course the play... More

We have attended many, many events at Madison's Overture Center over the years. Not only are the events diverse and plentiful, much like a splendid box of the finest chocolates, but the architecture within which one enjoys the performing arts is beyond amazing. The ambiance, the sheer beauty, and especially all the gracious personnel who make the events come to... More

I've gone to many shows here in several of the different halls. They always have a wide variety of shows to choose from. Parking is easy & plentiful. Great location being downtown so you can go early & walk around & explore downtown and have b'fast/lunch/dinner at one of the amazing restaurants to choose from within walking distance. If you... I've been to at least 6 events at the Overture now and have never been disappointed. Two weeks ago I attended a children's event at the Overture rotunda. The staff, both volunteer have been really helpful and even enthusiastic. The Capitol theater is gorgeous and there's always great art on display.

I adore the shows at the Overture. Yes, they are often expensive, but they make a point of offering free/affordable shows often featuring local talent and the building is beyond beautiful. The museum is a lot of fun to visit too, as they usually have interesting works displayed. I have not yet eaten at the restaurant, Fresco, but I've heard... More

New performing arts center that combines old facade with very contemporary glass and light wood interior. Acoustics in the theaters are great and the venue attracts some excellent touring companies of Broadway shows. Also a beautiful place for a wedding or other important event.
