We sat front row for Steely Dan last weekend and were a little worried of it being too loud. What a pleasant surprise. Great sound and a beautiful place to see a show! Afterward we chatted with the stage hands and they commented on what a beautiful facility and that this was one of the best venues they had ever... More

We were in the upper balcony for Steely Dan and the sound was amazing. There was an annoying light behind the drummer but otherwise the show was great. Beautiful venue. I would definitely return.

Very elegant facility. Not a bad seat in the house. Drinks were available on all levels and we were able to take them to our seats.

Beautiful theater with good acoustics, comfortable and roomy seating. Inconvenient rule about paying an extra $3 to take your drink into the theater.

Seats for War Horse were up in the nosebleed area, did not realize the balcony was so far from the stage. 1st time there. Learned a lesson the hard way. Will do a better job the next time.

Madison is blessed to have the Overture Center! With seven performance venues and several art galleries, there is always something going on. The building is an architectural gem, and is a feast for the eyes. And having a 1920's vaudeville theater incorporated into the modern building is really a surprise. We go to plays, symphonies, operas, the National Geographic Live... More

Love, love, love going to shows here. Always excited when I get the book of the shows for the upcoming season. Plan out which shows I'm going to & mark on the calendar when the tickets go on sale. Multiple show area's & they are all very nice.

The place is beautiful and located right on State Street. It brings good entertainment. The only problem is that if you buy from their website, you will end up with bad located seats. I bought it in advance, chose the option "best available" and when I got there with friends that decided to go last minute, they could buy much... More

This theatre is worthy of an address in NYC or another world capital. Beautiful new construction; the main theatre is well appointed and has wonderful acoustics. The smaller theatre, in the old (yet renovated) part of the building si cozy and intimate and beautiful too. Walking by it you get the impression of grandeur, and it doesnt disappoint when you... The Overture and Capital theaters are wonderful. Beverages are allowed in the theater but not snacks yet. Theater is located on State Street which has lots of things to do and see.
