Worth a few minutes to walk around; connected by heated (cooled?) skybridge from the Hilton hotel. Farmers/community market every Saturday morning; they move it inside in cold weather. Looks like nice meeting/conference space as well.

We didn't take the formal tour of the convention center, but we did walk around and made a purchase in the gift shop. We then ate lunch on the rooftop cafe. Excellent!

As a local I do not appreciate this building at all. Roof top is for tourists and inside is for lousy conventions and its visitors. Interior has nothing special about and you won't find any locals in there except those who work in that building. Occasionally I would use the elevator to take me from lake level to the Capitol... Came for the winter version of this art fair and IT WAS SO AWESOME. I have never seen so much beauty and talent in one place, and I am an art fair geek! Everything was so awesome, and it was completely accessible. Great time.

We have been coming here for almost a decade for the WI Music Educator's Convention and these guys always go a great job. Start to finish we wish more convention halls had this level of commitment and pride in their work. See you all next year!

Great location for a wedding reception! The building is very interesting with great lakeside views. Unfortunately, we were not able to check out the rooftop patio due to rainy weather. Would be worthwhile to visit anytime!

Breathtaking views. Never realised until we saw the memorial plaque that Lake Monona is where Otis Redding lost his life in that plane crash! We only went on top of the Covention Centre & not in it.

This is worth the walk down to the lake; the views are spectacular. The Capitol building is very impressive seen from the terrace.

This is a facility that not only works well for large meetings, but is a delight to see. The views of Lake Mendota are great, the structure is pretty amazing and the gift shop has some pretty cool FLLW stuff to buy. Parking is a breeze and access to downtown Madison is very easy.
