We had visited the Unitarian Church in Madison and decided we wanted to see more examples of FLW buildings in the area. Very modern soaring lines and beautiful spaces, both inside and outside. Lovely grounds and buildings.

Building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is incredible! The use of space along the lake gives wonderful views of the area. From the rooftop you can see the capital building.

Beautiful facilities, beautiful and historic grounds, convenient to absolutely everything in central Madison. Have been to conferences there several times, always a pleasure.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Madison. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it started raining and they closed all their outdoor beverage centers. I understand that they thought storms were coming. There is a variety of food and beverages and great music. A very relaxing place to be.

In the heart of Madison, Wisconsin with the state capital as a backdrop the terrace/convention center makes a statement in the cityscape of Madison. There is a tour offered thru the gift shop at 1:00 everyday with a guide that points out the Wright architect and some similarities between all the Frank Loyd Wrights buildings and there relationship to nature... We only ate at the outdoor roof grill, but it was fun, good food and a great view! Beautiful building though.

It is a pretty walk just to arrive here from the capitol building, passing a fountain.....climbing the slowly rising ramp, then at the top seeing the view out over the lake....and there is a cafe up there, and lots of other seating if you want to just enjoy the breeze and the views in all directions.

We have been to several art shows and home remodeling shows at Monona Terrace. Excellent place for these large events. Go there at night and walk up to the top floor and see the great view of the capital building and the lake.

This is an excellent and beautiful convention center. There are a significant number of exceptional hotels nearby - easily within walking distance. The view of the river is fantastic and the staff for the event I attended was very polite and courteous. I look forward to another event at this location.
