Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, this facility is a gem to walk about and explore. There are informational signs everywhere to include interactive videos. The gift shop offers many of his designs. Make sure you spend time walking on the terrace overlooking Lake Monona.

I was very impressed with learning the history and being able to freely walk around this great property; You can view it during the day or night. If you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, it is mandatory to see. Free admission too, unlike Talesin.

The Monona Conference Center is located right on the shore of Lake Monona. It's a beautiful location. If you are an event attendee, you will enter off of Wilson Street. If you are an event exhibitor, you will enter off of John Nolen Drive. Because we were exhibiting and had been given the Wilson Street address, we had a bit... More

They talked about constructing this building for over five decades and it was finally completed in 1997. It is a fitting tribute to the creativity of Frank Lloyd Wright. It also improved the ambiance of Lake Monona.

We told a cab driver to take us to "The Terrace", and he brought us here. It's a very nice Terrace with great views (including the capital). We were there late, so we didn't have a chance to try out the restaurant that's there, but it was worthwhile to see. Despite not being the correct terrace (we wanted to go... More

The Monona Terrace is billed as a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired facility. As you drive into Madison, you see this beautiful structure on the beautiful lake, and you are immediately in love with this great City.

Stayed at nearby hotel for wedding and ventured out to see this interesting Frank Lloyd Wright building. Worth a look and walk around--wish we had time for the tour. Has great little cafe at the top with view of the lake.

Great Views on the roof top. The building it self is goofy. Poor architect design and lay out. Poor location of the bathrooms if you can find them. Carpet is ugly for being some what new. Summer time concerts on the roof top are fun ! ! Great bands. But remember the bathroom problem if you drink.
