Average concert venue - $7 mixed drinks (very small) The venue is getting a little outdated, but still does the trick. Parking is reasonable, but can be quite a hike from the parking lot to the venue. Some concerts allow you to take drinks to your seats and other concerts you can only drink in a small fenced off area.... More

I was here for the Slipknot concert and was very pleased with the venue. Parking was only $7.00, which I found very reasonable. I was also pleased with the amount of parking. I had no problem finding a parking spot and I felt that my car was safe in the lot. The venue itself is easy to navigate and not... More

The only place you can drink beer is inside this little pen, like I'm a damn bull. The beer choices they have are terrible, only two. The beer they do have tastes terrible. Cash only for the beer. Cash only for the parking. Terrible cellular signal. What a dump.

We came from out of state to meet friends and check out the annual Bratfest held at the Alliance Energy Center. The best part of the visit was the run course which went through Willow Island I believe. The festival was ok - there was ample parking and shuttles but not a lot of things to do once you had... I gave a low rating due to the parking not the horse show! We needed handicap parking since my sister has heart and lung issue and was told that it was all filled up so we had to park in the back 40. Was told there was a shuttle but not was seen the whole walk down. There was an... More

Appearing a little like a giant cupcake, the Alliant Energy Center is one of the cooler looking old 'coliseum' arenas in the area. It is a medium/large venue for concerts (~10000) but draws all sorts of events. I was there for two rock concerts. Best parts: Being a medium/large venue, there isn't a bad seat in the house. And the... More

There are several sections to the Center. I was there to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama, so being able to hear was critical. I splurged and bought the expensive seats and was fairly close to the stage. There really is no excuse for this major failing, and I felt bad for the Tibetan people who have so few opportunities... I have went here for years to attend World Dairy Expo--Huge facility to house all of the dairy related exhibits. Always clean and well lit.

we have been to alliant for several events. some, such as the new car show were fine. others, such as the electronics show were dumping grounds for overpriced outdated computer junk.
