we have been to alliant for several events. some, such as the new car show were fine. others, such as the electronics show were dumping grounds for overpriced outdated computer junk.

This is the Madison big events center, with Monona Terrace being another site. We were there for the Alpaca Show, and a couple of other functions. It pretty much has something going on all year round.

Plenty of parking. Funcitonal not fancy. Clean facility. Offers varying venues frorm horse shows to RV displays to concerts.

if have somthing going on here stay at the sheraton hotel it is the place to stay

No complaints about the Alliant Energy Center for the 5 days we were there for the USTA Tumbling and Trampoline Nationals.

Easy to get around in and well organized. A week parking pass would be nice to make available to those attending events all week long.

I've been to the Alliant for several concerts and the Horse fair in the spring. This venue is pretty large for Madison. Most shows have general admission on the floor, which is the way to go. Whatever time of year, I always look to the Alliant Energy Center for something fun to do. The Mid-West Horse Fair is our favorite, and you don't have to be a horse lover either. Dane county fairs tons to do with kids

Saw Elton John there last month. Good beer. Clean seating. Close bathrooms. Good view. Good sound.
