Enjoy the spectacular gardens, nooks with chairs or benches in a tranquil setting. Free! Take a B-cycle, walk, take the bus or if you must, drive to Olbrich Gardens. It is a fantastic botanical adventure with a Thai sala (pavilion), rose garden and many flowers and shrubs to savor!

This is a lively botanical garden that packs a lot of variety into a comfortably walkable space. In spring, summer, and fall, the free outdoor gardens feature perennial borders, a large herb garden, abundant roses, water gardens, gravel gardens, native spring ephemerals, alpine plants, a meadow with species bulbs, beautiful trees with spring flowers or fall color), an observation tower,... This is a beautiful, well maintained garden. You can stroll the outdoor gardens free of charge and there are plenty of free parking spaces available as well.

This is one of the best kept gardens I have seen. I love the sections and the different 'rooms' they have created. Being free to visit makes it even more spectacular as all can enjoy it. If you have a few hours and want to be outside, this is the place to go.

Great place to visit with friends, family and solo. I can add this place to one of the best garden I have ever seen. Variety of flowers in one place. Thai pavilion is my favorite. Take pics, enjoy the nature and have fun.

Very well-kept grounds, areas of specialties, and has an enclosed dome of tropical plant and tree life, feels very much like southern Florida inside, and is warmed all year round, so is fully alive all year. Of course, outside is quit quiet in the cold months.

Any time there is a garden like this, take the time and see it. If you are fortunate to live within a short driving distance, take the time and see it again and again in the different seasons.

My wife and I make a point of visiting local gardens when we travel. This one was a pleasant surprise. There was no charge to stroll the gardens and they were beautiful and pleasing to view. We did not visit the conservatory (which has a fee) because of the distance we had to travel that day. The gardens are well... More
