Serene and beautiful east side of Madison stop. A sort of secret hideaway from the bustle of the university.

Olbrich is a fantastic Botanical Gardens. It is the perfect place for a walk, read a book, or just to sit and enjoy. The tropical Conservatory is great and well worth a visit on it own.

My boyfriend and I made a quick stop at the indoor garden. The cost was $2.00 to get in. Walking through took about 20-30 minutes. It was nice and something different to do. We will go back in the summer as the outdoor area looked large although covered in SNOW. :)

We go to Olbrich a lot in the summer, but we just went to the indoor dome and loved it! It only costs $2 a person and is a wonderful break from cold Wisconsin winters.

Needed a break from the cold and longed to smell "green" things. What a wonderful winter break. Flowers, singing birds, the sound of moving water. Wish I lived closer.

Great if you are looking to get outdoors and walk around. Lots of separate areas to sit on a bench and relax or read a book. Have seen many weddings here, would be a great venue.

The Olbrich Botanical Gardens have a variety of walking paths and different garden themes. The indoor sunroom is both informative and a great get-away from the cold Wisconsin winters.

We drove down here to visit a special Christmas display with trains and Legos. Although we thought the display was small for the $5.00 admission per person, the fee included entrance into the gardens which were relaxing and quiet beautiful and informative. If you enjoy horticulture at any level, you will enjoy your visit!

We came to see the butterfly exhibit and it was very beautiful. Lots of plants and colors and we loved seeing the delicate creatures flying around. Fun for small groups and families! I don't think they had a military discount.

This is not the biggest or most impressive botanical garden that I’ve visited, but it’s easily accessible, with ample parking, with viewing and walking choices, including an enclosed garden and several outside gardens. Many special events, including music performances, and classes. An oasis for area residents, as well as tourists.
