We spent several hours walking around and taking in the large variety of beautiful gardens. There is so much to see, and it was a hit with the whole family (including 11 and 12 year old daughters). The highlight was definitely the beautiful Thai pavilion, which according to the volunteers at the main desk, is the only authentic Thai pavilion... More

The Conservatory has a lot of unique plants to check out. It does cost $2 for general public admission and is free for children 5 and under. There are nice wandering paths through the outdoor garden. Everything is well maintained and there is a lot of variety. The indoors is a nice tropical habitat. We went on Saturday morning and it's free to see the indoor garden on Saturday mornings. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours on a nice day.

Beautiful and interesting plantings, helpful staff, and a butterfly display to boot. And it's right across the street from Lake Monona.

The gardens are awesome. If your in the area go visit. It's free and one of the most beautiful gardens I've been to visit. In Sept there was still so much in bloom.

We attended an event at the gardens. It was a beautiful space for this purpose, and we felt like we were in a fairy tale.

Beautiful, extensive gardens! The fountains are amazing. A great place to wear out your little ones and it's free for the outdoor gardens!

We visited here on a Sunday morning - very few people, very peaceful. Bring a lunch and a book and spend the day.

Wonderful botanical garden right in the heart of the city. These are well established, beautiful gardens which are very well maintained.
