You may need your GPS to locate this museum since unlike it's not located in the downtown area of Hot Springs. But honestly for the cost you and kids if you have them will have a whole day of fun. There are often visiting activities like the Walking with Dinosaurs exhibit. And there's a theater for planetary and movie experiences.... More

I have been going here since I was a child. This place is great always has been so I was disappointed when my fiance and I went to Hot springs and I called to get their hours and a recording came on saying they were closed for a 6 month renovation and they will reopen in March.

With all of the interesting exhibits, interactive activities and informative displays....this museum has something for everyone. The Tesla coil display and show is fun and enlightening (pun intended!) . We all enjoyed participating in the various activities and exhibits...especially the worm tunnel which brought out the "kid" in all of us. The gift shop is fun and offers many educational... More

Lots of interesting exhibits and boys loved Underground Arkansas. Exhibits are very interesting and engaging. Boys love all the "hands on" opportunities. I was very impressed with both the indoor and the outdoor activities. Really looking forward to visiting again after the remodel.

What a wonderful surprise in Hot Springs! Went with 2 adults & 4 kids (ages 6,7,9,12) and everyone was entertained. Amazon and Nano exhibits were very cool & there was lots of interactive attractions throughout. The grounds are also very beautiful.

It is always a great time interacting, playing and learning with all the exhibits. They have added new exhibits as well for those who haven't been in awhile.

Just don't expect much, but overall was ok. This is the kind of place where a Day Care, Elementary, or Middle School kids would come for a trip. Not planning on ever going back.

Our first family visit here and not only were they preparing to close for major renovations, most of the exhibits weren't maintained! It was assumed that all visitors were aware of pending renovations, but there was absolutely no signage. Full price was charged although most exhibits didn't function correctly and the renovation crews were everywhere. Wait until next summer before... More

Better hurry! Closes in August for major renovation. Been to many such hands-on science-type museums and this already ranks at the top. I can only imagine what it will be like afterwards!

This is a cute place for kids to play while adults get a break from the hot weather. Some of the exhibits needrepair work - especially the ones that use music to explain the physics involved in creating musical instruments. It's not a large place but big enough for kids to stay busy maybe a couple of hours. I was... More
