My third trip recently (once as child, once as young adult, once as parent of teenager)- very few changes! Even less dusting- achoo! Noticed another reviewer question about Ronald Reagan missing- saw on roadsideamerica.com that previous owners sold him! Our kids weren't impressed except with Jack Sparrow! -he was new to me since my last visit too. Teens liked the... More

Don't miss it, even if it is dated and silly, it's a treasure for oddity lovers! I have visited it three times now and it's so quirky and weird and wonderful. Yes it's old, but it makes you think about the hay day of not springs and how wonderful it must have been. I love the vintage quality it has.

Was not overly impressed with this place. Old and drab. In need of some TLC. Went because my mom likes these kind of places when we are on a trip and she was not that impressed either. Want be going again unless there is much improvement.

The cashier was rude to us as well as the customers in front of us. We had closed bags of popcorn from a store down the street which we had to leave at the front counter, but yet were allowed to take our bottle waters in the museum -- that didn't make sense to me. Many of the plaques were... More

I have been several times before while growing up. Not much has changed that I recall. The exhibits appear very old and not kept up. There is a new set of exhibits that focus on the organized crime days of Hot Springs that is new since I last visited. My kids favorite part was buying toy guns in the gift... More

This place was terrible! It only takes maybe thirty minutes to go through and that is if you are stopping and reading a few things. Nothing looked very realistic. For the same price we went to MidAmerica which was great and we spent hours.

I love stuff like this so I thought it was cool and creepy. There are wax figures in the windows before you even go in. One figure is of the owner. Underneath her it explains that all the wax figures have real human hair. A lot of these wax figures are pretty old as you can tell that they are... More

Small, but unique. Didn't take long to walk through it. LOVED the section that included fairy tales like Snow White, Cinderella, etc. Only 10 bucks to get in, so it was something to do and interesting.

I would say, as far as wax museums go, this one could use a little TLC. It's still creepy and weird and wonderful in that way, but it's just a little more run down than it should be. Some of the figures were patched back together and one didn't have a hand. That said, it's still worth it for the... More

My friend & I looked forward for a whole year to coming back to Hot Springs and visiting the wax museum. We finally went and could not believe it. Some of the figures were of fictional characters (Cinderella, Snow White, etc.). The best thing about it was the Al Capone/gangster area - that was the most true-to-life attraction in the... More
