Hot Springs Mountain has several trails that lead up to the tower with several other observation stops along the way. Since you are on a mountain, the paths are steep, but there is one that is paved.

Passing through we stopped here to take in the views. They were beautiful. Right at sunset was amazing. I wish we had had enough time to hike up, but having the option to drive it was amazing! Definitely recommended!

The mountain is close to downtown, so you don't have to drive a long way to get there. You can drive to and park at the peak, or there is plenty of parking at the base of the mountain to hike up. Hiking is very easy with clear paths, might take you 20 minutes to get to the top. It's... More

Hot springs west mountain is so peaceful and beautiful. The curves make the drive fun but the beauty is amazing. There are a coupling of parking lookouts to veiw the city. Pictures turnout amazing. I saw alot of well defined walking trails and crosswalks but didnt get hike or walk far, would be great in the spring.

We parked at the bottom near the Grand Promenade and ended up taking a nice scenic hike to the top. However, we later found out that we could have simply driven up to the overlook area. The cost of going up to the top of the tower is about $7/ person for an adult. I would say that it is... More

Very short drive from anywhere in hot springs. Road to the top is well marked. An in excellent condition. Any auto can travel this short drive with ease. The over looks at the top give you some grand photo ops. Bring a picnic lunch you may want to stay a bit. It does get windy, so dress for the season... More

Drive up and stop! Its better that way. Go during sun rise or sunset. If you prefer to hike up that's cool too. I didn't want to walk that much. The drive up and down is very fun, twisty, scenic.

Once we arrived into Hot Springs, this was the 1st drive we did, a lovely scenic route up to the tower. We did not go up on the tower, for which there is a charge. But we stopped and 'gazed' as we drove along, maybe take a short walk couple of places. It's just a pity that in early October... More
