We rented the only two bedroom cabin in the park. It was like being in a house. Lovely private deck and pier for fishing. Lots of stuff for kids to do all day long. Three great trails to hike and activities provided by the park almost every day.

We had an excellent time. Checking in was a breeze. We had a tent site with electricity and water which was very convenient. We will definitely go back and visit. We did lots of hiking on beautiful trails and got to see multiple wildlife, including a family of deer. Waterfall was beautiful but a bit cold this time of year.... More

The trails are amazing. Must be in moderate physical shape. Small children will likely need assistance on some areas of the trail. The waterfall is amazing!!! Comfortable campsites, nice and level for the RV. Well kept place!

Our family loves going on these hiking trails to see the falls. They're beautiful! Our children range from ages 4-17, and there is a trail that's perfect for all!

We didn't spend much time here, but we did take the Red trail to view the waterfall and really enjoyed that. The hike to the waterfall was very pretty as well.

It was a warm spring day in the 80's and we went for the full loop hike that takes you to the falls. Very pretty and would do it again. Wear good hiking shoes for the hike, it can be a little rugged in areas.

Great place to visit, wooded area is great to go for a walk, walking paths provided, nice overview of the lake. First time we had been out there, did not realize it existed. Great place to take the kids and a great place to get some nice pictures.

This is a gorgeous campground near Hot Springs. It contains hiking trails that have waterfalls. The rainy weather did not permit us to hike while visiting. There are tons of trees in this area that make this park very pretty!

Growing up in Arkansas, I only went to Lake Quachita, Hamiliton and Greers Ferry. I was so impressed with the facilities at Lake Catherine State Park. If camping is on your agenda, this place is a great destination.

Me and my family went here last March it was very peaceful. The only complaint we had was that a party was going on next door until 1am and they were extra loud. Plus one of the guest stayed up late practicing violin and the yurt are not very far apart. But view is nice and bathrooms are clean.
