I only live about 15-20 minutes from the park so I go there regularly. I personally love hiking the trails myself. But over the years, I've camped here, used the pool, fished and kayaked. Great park, but it really is what you make of it. More

I'm partial because I live within walking distance of the park, but it's a great place to hike, walk, geocache, and explore. Great way to spend an afternoon. Also nice to rent a canoe or kayak and enjoy the lake. More

This place has all of the remnants of the past Ice Age, from 15,000 years ago. As you enter the area surrounding French Creek State Park, you will see large rocks and huge boulders that were deposited by those glaciers. Well kept trails and low crowds makes this park very pleasant to hike and mountain bike in. Beautiful views of the lakes in the areas too. Only thing is that the park welcome center is never open. They advertise on the website about an orienteering course that is self-run - you just have to get the map at the welcome... More

This park is quiet and not crowded. Nice pavilions for picnics, you should reserve a pavilion if you want to make sure you have one. Nice streams for fishing. More
