Situated enroute between Nuwara Eliya and Kandy, the place offers a peaceful yet engaging time for families travelling together. The scenic surroundings and the awesome amount of pictures that people can pose and click keeps you completely detached from the day to day routine. The scenery with mountain like resting Hanuman is majestic and reaffirms the mythological stories that we... More

This is a lovely, small temple which is run by the Chinmaya mission. The Hanuman diety is beautiful. The whole area is lovely and peaceful. There is a good vegetarian restaurant on-site. It was raining and misty whilst we were there, so we could not enjoy the great views which others have mentioned. Still, I would say, this is a... More

The statue of Lord Hanuman is gigantic..Have to be careful about the timings since the temple closes for some particular duration at several intervals..for offering prasad to God.

A tall statue of Shri Hanuman in black stone looks majestic. Do not miss Shri Hanuman figure formed on the mountains across. The temple is managed by Shri Ram Krishna Mission and they have a canteen serving simple yet tasty south indian dishes.

This is a great place - both touristically and for hindu atheists. The temple is simple but the statue kept there is huge. and the scenery that awaits outside is breathtakingly beautiful,

Oh when we reached it was closed. It opens around 330 PM in the afternoon- we don't know when does it open in the first half. But the view from here was worth coming- what if we faced closed doors. Jai Bhakt Hanuman

This is just a temple. It has no historic value or magnificent piece of art work. Even not a very good scenery of mountains here. It may looks like something you much see because of the the giant sign board. But it is nothing.

a very new temple place on the top of the mountain. This place is known where Lord Hanuman had rested on his way to search for Sita Maa. The view from the temple top is breath taking. It is on the way to Nuwara eliya .Photography is not allowed.
