It's a small community church with colonial history. Nothing particularly exceptional. Original organ and plenty . Of memorial stones dating back to British rule. A simple Place of worship

Interesting from outside and inside. Very good maintained. Close to city centre, located in quite neighbourhood with a lot of English-style buildings.

Visited around 5:45pm. There was nobody around. Just walked round the closed church and came off. Cannot give any rating since we were unable to see the inside, except the graves outside. Premises is well kept.

We visited this beautiful church and really enjoyed the experience. We met the vicar who gave us a small tour and showed us the stain glass windows Queen Elizabeth II gave to the church on her visit there. He prayed for our safety on our vacation, and is a really wonderful man. Meeting him was a highlight. After this we... More

We walked up to the church late one afternoon, there appeared to be a music practice or something similar in the church itself so we didn't go in. However, we spent about half an hour wandering around the churchyard reading the headstones and really feeling privileged to do so, we felt as if we were touching the social history of... More

We visited today, Remembrance Sunday 2013 as I found out there were 3 Allied service personnel buried in the church graveyard. We found the three well-maintained graves and paused for a minute or two to pay our respects. Its interesting to walk through the graveyard and see the names of the people buried there, looking at where they were born... More

Well maintained,Worth a visit. Like so much here, it's a lesson in history. More than 100 years old pipe piano and old pews and furniture are very attractive

This is an Anglican church situated in Little England. Nuwara Eliya was called Little England by the British during their period in Ceylon (1815 - 1948) because this area resembled the countryside in England. The British also came to Nuwara Eliya to escape the heat in when it was hot in other areas of Ceylon (As it was known in... More
