At around 10 am the clouds usually come in, so leave early to have a good view. There are two ways around this circle walk. We had a helpful suggestion from one of the tour guides which was to walk towards Baker's falls first as this is the easier route and not such a climb.

The journey involves a 7 km trek (both ways) which is not that easy for casual walkers. It involved some strenuous walks. However the view on the top is well worth it. You have to be lucky to get a view since weather is very finicky. It is advised to reach the gates by 7.30 AM. I found the entry... More

The 7km hike is the most impressive short easy hike that we have been on. Extremely easy and spectacular scenery! A must do!

Go in the morning, arrive around 6 to beat the crowds. We had Worlds End to ourselves for 20 minutes, it was gorgeous watching the clouds roll through the valley.

Got up very early and left our hotel (heritage tea factory) at 5.30am to get the best viewing chances. Hotel were kind enough to give us a breakfast to take with us at no cost. Was quite a long trip in a jeep to get there which we weren't expecting, and would recommend a light jumper of jacket if sun... More

We were at the entrance at 7, and were let in easy. We did the round trip and had a Nice and light challenging walk, mostly due to the wet tracks. It took us almost 3,5 hours with the stops at little worlds end, worlds end and Bakers Fall. Worlds End as such is not the main attraction imo. It's... More

A well kept reserve, where, on a lucky day, you might get a glimpse at some wildlife; a nice track taking you to the world's end ( small & big , but we wouldn't know, since the fog seems to surround them perennially); a pleasant stroll on a plateau with relaxing views ( provided there's no fog); a 3-5 hours'... As recommended we got up for a 5.00am start which meant that we caught the sunrise. Having had a series of misty days, we were lucky to have a clear and sunny day which meant fantastic views on the way there and when we were actually in the national park and at the top of World's End. Take binoculars, if... More

It was not sunny when we were there, but it was still beautiful. Actually it was one of my favorite spots in Sri Lanka, especially the mini world's end. Tip: if you are not good at hiking, it's better to walk anti-clockwise. You will walk the hard part first when you have energy (most people do clockwise though)

Unfortunately a wet and misty day didn't give the views we hoped - but a great walk non the less, waterfalls, wildlife etc etc - shame about the weather
