We went here by a friend's private speedboat so I cant tell you how much the fee was. It took about 15-20 minutes (one way) from Dermaga Kuto Besak (close to Riverside Restaurant). We passed by some industrial big ship on the way, really exciting ride! At Kemaro Island there was a chinese temple along with a pagoda. The building... More

To get here you must to crossing the river with boat, because the VIhara was located in the middle of island in Musi RIver. The location area was standart facility, its OK. But the most important think is to appreciate the Vihara as our culture.

There's a temple for Buddhist prayer in the island, a very good place to visit to learn about different culture. We can go to the island by boat from Ampera bridge.

The main and the only attraction when you boat the Musi River but don't too put high expectation on it .Despite its potentially rank. The vicinity of the island is standart not to say nearly dirty. The ornament of the vihara was not in high quality . The facility is poor.

Went there on a sunday afternoon using a local boat (rent are 150.000 rupiahs for a round-trip from ampera bridge). The island is small but nice. There's a tomb and a pagoda. Too bad it wasn't really clean.

lagendary island with a devoted love story! mostly visited by locals over the weekend like feasta with food stores and some kind of fanfare. the main highlight is during chinese new year's 15th day, where an elaborated event is held and celebrated by the whole Palembang community. the impressive thing is, the local council event extended a temporary bridge to... The view is good and do not forget to go upstairs until you reach the top floor in the chinese tower. A bit expensive if you come here not in a medium size group because the boat is about Rp 300.000

It's surprised that there is an island which has a chinese temple there. Unfortunately, there was any event when I came there. It's nice to visit something different in the middle of Musi River.
